Facebook lanza Marketplace, un espacio de compraventa en su red social
Facebook lanzó este lunes Marketplace, su propio espacio de compraventa a través de su red social.
A través de un comunicado, la empresa dijo que inicialmente este servicio estará disponible en EU, Reino Unido, Australia y Nueva Zelanda.
Para hacer uso de la misma, los usuarios sólo deberán tomar una fotografía del artículo, introducir una descripción, un precio y confirmar su localización. Otros usuarios que se encuentren cerca del vendedor, podrán hacer ofertas por el producto y acordar el pago.

De acuerdo con la compañía, Marketplace funcionará como un "mediador", pero no proporcionará un método de pago ni el envío de los artículos.
La aplicación para iPhone y Android incorporará un pequeño icono en su página inicial para acceder a la plataforma de compraventa.
Según los datos de la compañía, más de 450 millones de personas visitan grupos de Facebook de compraventa cada mes, por lo que esperan que Marketplace facilite estos intercambios.
Marketplace se extenderá progresivamente a otros países en los próximos meses.
