Taxes and trade are not the most important issues facing the US economy. Productivity is. The price for securing our future amounts to only a small fraction of pennies on the dollar. How are we coming up short?

For all of the iterative design updates, slow progress, and only the occasional visible tweak to its hardware, Tim Cook has put Apple’s reputation on the line with his decisions made in 2016. Is Apple right to push its audience towards Cupertino’s one true and correct brave new world of the future, or are Apple’s decisions to implement change just because it can a sign of its growing arrogance in the mobile marketplace?
