More Sources Confirm: Apple Played It Safe With The iPhone 7, The Real Changes Will Come Next Year

Back in April I wrote about the rumors, originating from very reliable Apple leaker Kuo Ming-chi, that the iPhone 7 won’t be a big upgrade over the iPhone 6s, and that Apple is saving most of its game-changing design and features for the 2017 iPhone, the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone.

JBL Reflect Aware Noise-Cancelling Earbuds With Lightning Connector Are Perfect For The iPhone 7

Now that Apple’s latest iPhone has been stripped of the conventional 3.5mm headphone socket we can expect to see a whole heap of new products from headphone manufacturers who have licensed Apple’s proprietary Lightning Connector. First out of the traps is JBL with a brand new set of noise-cancelling earbuds designed specifically for sport. Thanks to something called Adaptive Noise Control, these JBL earbuds enable you to adjust the level of noise cancellation to suit the environment you find yourself in. These chunky-looking earbuds also feature a choice of different eartips that should fit most size of ear-hole. Also included are three sets of JBL’s Sound Tunnel eartips that lodge firmly in your ear and won’t fall out even when you’re doing vigorous sports.

Should We Get More Candy From The Buddy System In ‘Pokémon GO?’

Pokémon GO developer Niantic labs has not developed a reputation for generosity, at least when it comes to ingame rewards. Pokémon GO’s buddy system is finally live, and some are complaining that the developer is being mighty stingy with candy. Basically, the buddy system awards you candy for a single Pokemon that follows you around outside of the Pokéball, allowing you to level up some of your rarer finds. And yes, some Pokémon get you rewards for just a single kilometer, but some of the rarer monsters can take 5 times that long. My colleague Paul Tassi thinks that isn’t nearly enough, saying that this feature won’t draw back lapsed players unless it starts doling out the candy a little more effectively. I’m not so sure.
