Xiaomi lanza el Redmi 3 Pro con 3GB de RAM, 32GB de memoria interna y sensor de huella dactilar

En el mes de enero Xiaomi anunció el Redmi 3, un teléfono de 100 dólares que se caracteriza por una masiva batería de 4.100 mAh, un chip Snapdragon 616, 2 GB de memoria RAM, diseño en metal y soporte a dual SIM y tarjeta micro SD.

Hoy el fabricante chino ha anunciado oficialmente su actualización con el Redmi 3 Pro. Mientras es bastante similar al Redmi 3 en lo que son las especificaciones, hay una pareja de componentes que los diferencian considerablemente. El Redmi 3 Pro ofrece 3 GB de memoria RAM y 32 GB de almacenamiento interno, donde el estándar Redmi 3 se queda en los 2 GB de RAM y 16 GB de almacenamiento interno.

Otro de los detalles que marcan las diferencias es la integración de sensor de huella dactilar, inexistente en el original Redmi 3. Aunque donde sí que se encuentran es en la ranura para tarjeta micro SD que permite aumentar el almacenamiento interno en el Pro más allá de los 32 GB.

Un teléfono que obtiene un buen resultado en la fotografía con ciertas características destacables como el autofocus de detección por fases PDAF, lo que significa que realizar un enfoque en una décima de segundo. También posee una cámara frontal de 5 MP, y en el diseño tiene un cuerpo único en metal. Tampoco podemos olvidarnos de su enorme capacidad de batería con 4.100 mAh.

El Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro llegará el 6 de abril en tres colores: gris, plata y oro. A un precio aproximado al cambio de 138 dólares es otra de las grandes apuestas del fabricante chino.

Entry level Gionee P5 mini unveiled with 4.5-inch display, quad-core CPU

Chinese manufacturer Gionee has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone. Dubbed P5 mini, the device is powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz Mediatek MT6580M‎ chipset, and sports a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixel resolution) IPS display.

It has 1GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory, and packs in an 1,800mAh battery. In terms of camera, the device features a 5MP rear unit and a 2MP front shooter. Measuring 132x 66 x 9.1mm and weighing in at 153g, the handset offers dual SIM functionality and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Update brings Dropbox integration to Adobe Acrobat Reader on Android

After iOS, Adobe has now rolled out the Dropbox integration update to its Acrobat Reader app on Android, allowing users to access PDF files stored in their Dropbox account directly from the app.

Dropbox, on the other hand, has also updated its Android app, adding a new “do more with your PDF documents” option, tapping on which launches Acrobat Reader from the cloud storage app for you to view and take action on files.

Just over a week after it started accepting LG G5 pre-orders, AT&T has begun shipping the flagship device – few lucky ones will get their units as soon as today (March 30), a day before the phone is set to be launched globally.
