Watch Apple’s keynote right here

Today is Apple’s big day (at least until the iPhone 7 unveiling, which is still a few months away) and it’s almost time for the event to start, so grab a bag of popcorn and prepare to be dazzled. The show is set for 10 a.m. PDT, which translates to 5 p.m. GMT and, as usual, Cupertino will be live streaming the keynote.

It should also come as no surprise, that Apple users have it easy. Any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with Safari on iOS 7.0 or later, or a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later are capable of tuning it and so are Apple TV’s, all the way back to second…

My son is begging me to buy a rank on a factions server, weren’t these servers made ills gal by Mojang a year or so ago? via /r/Minecraft

My son is begging me to buy a rank on a factions server, weren’t these servers made ills gal by Mojang a year or so ago?

Tried googling and all I find are articles from 2014 that say it will be illegal to sell in game items or perks, but this seems to be a big server, how are they getting away with it? Did mojang relent after that big change and let servers sell again?

Going Rogue In ‘The Division:’ The Dark Zone Is Way Too Friendly

We’re now two weeks into The Division, for good and for ill. The base game is well-put together, even if it doesn’t grab me the way some other RPGs have. But it’s the endgame that tests the capabilities of any MMO, and in The Division a good amount of high-level loot farming is meant to take place in The Dark Zone. On paper, The Dark Zone is brilliant. It is still, occasionally, brilliant in gameplay. It’s a blend of PvP and PvE, where players are largely cooperating to get high level gear but might betray each other at any second. That underlying tension carries with it a heightened sense of fear, a greater risk/reward balance, and an amazing sense of relief when you finally extract that piece of coveted high level gear. It’s Rust meets Destiny, and it can work. In theory.
