Apple drops the Watch price down to $299, introduces new band

Apple didn’t introduce the second generation Apple Watch as some rumors were suggesting through the past few weeks. But we got a few new bands a price cut – now the Watch’s starting price is $299.

In addition to the new $299 price, the Apple Watch is getting new color options and materials for its sport band.

An entirely new band, the woven-nylon band joins the existing range. Two new colors were also unveiled on stage.

The new bands go on sale today, the price should go live in the Store any moment now, too.

Apple iPhone SE official with a 4″ display and A9 chip

Apple just announced the iPhone SE with a 4″ display. The phone retains a design similar to the iPhone 5 and 5s, but features the latest gen Apple A9 chip with a dual-core 1.85 GHz Twister processor and PowerVR GT7600 six-core graphics.

The Apple iPhone SE features the same 12MP iSight camera as its iPhone 6s and 6s Plus siblings. It comes complete with 4K video recording.

The bet part about the iPhone SE is its price – it starts at $399 for 16GB of storage, while $499 nets you the 64GB version. The smartphone will be available for free with a two-year contract in the US…

One billion Apple devices are currently in use worldwide

Apple kicked off its March event with a rather interesting announcement – one billion Apple devices are currently in use worldwide.

The device count includes computers, phones, watches, players, and Apple TV boxes.

According to Apple, all of those billion devices are currently alive and active – so this is not the total number of sold Apple products since its inception.

En la última versión de la Google Play Store, la tienda oficial de aplicaciones, música, juegos, revistas y libros de Android, se introdujo una nueva posibilidad en lo que respecta a las novedades que salían en su tienda: las reservas o “pre-registros”.

Estas reservas fueron motivo de noticia con la aparición del nuevo juego de Supercell, Clash Royale, que se publicó de golpe para pre-registrar en la Play Store hará más de un mes. Aún así, solo hace 3 semanas que se abrió su descarga para todo el mundo.

Al igual que Clash Royale fue un completo éxito, Google Play ha seguido publicando juegos a los que podemos pre-registrarnos para jugarlos con antelación. Al día de hoy, analizaremos los tres mejores juegos de este tipo que podemos encontrar ahora mismo en la tienda de Google.

Disney Crossy Road

Todos conocemos a Crossy Road, ese juego que fue un completo boom en cuanto salió por su simplicidad y sus gráficos al estilo 8 bits. Pues bien, ahora Disney ha querido sacar provecho y prevé sacar en breves su propia versión del juego: Disney Crossy Road.

La dinámica del juego es idéntica: nuestro personaje deberá cruzar toda una serie de carreteras, ríos y autopistas sin ser atropellado, ahogado o se nos acabe el tiempo. La única diferencia pues, será esta temática Disney y Pixar, en la que se incluyen sus personajes más populares y puede que alguna banda sonora.

Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2

A apenas un mes antes del estreno de Capitán America: Civil War, Marvel ya tiene preparadisimo su nuevo juego de superheroes: Avengers Alliance 2. En efecto, en la continuación de su exitosa primera entrega del videojuego, formarás parte en un trepidante juego de estrategia del escuadrón más popular de Marvel, Los Vengadores.

El juego contará con todo lo que un RPG necesita: personalización de tu personaje con armaduras y más de 1000 armas diferentes, equipos y alianzas con tus amigos, mapas y escenarios grandes y detallados, y modo Arena, en el que te enfrentarás cara a cara con otros campeones y poner a prueba tus habilidades.

EvilBane Rise of Ravens

Como extra, Rise of Ravens integrará gremios, es decir, una especie de alianzas con otros jugadores a los que tendrás que apoyar y luchar a su lado contra otros gremios o enemigos diversos.

Todos estos 3 juegos están disponibles para pre-registrar en la Play Store, aunque se prevé que se haga su salida para todo el mundo en pocos días. Todos tres integran compras internas en el juego, pero son completamente gratuitos.

Samsung Gear S2 to gain iPhone support this month

Photo: Killian Bell/Cult of AndroidSamsung’s Gear S2 smartwatch will get an update that adds iPhone compatibility by the end of this month, according to a new report. The move will allow Samsung to compete with the Apple Watch in its own backyard, but some features — such as Samsung Pay — will be lost when the wearable is connected to iOS.
