Sir Richard Branson has come a long way from earning his first significant dollars (or pounds) by helping coordinate the music used in The Exorcist…his first success upon founding Virgin Records was seeing Mike Oldfield’s “Tubular Bells” explode off the turntable and into the public’s consciousness. Over the ensuing decades Branson has followed his muse across a boggling array of activities. One of his more astute choices was supporting the Extreme Tech Challenge (XTC).

I might have gotten high on headphones
Last week I put a strange pair of headphones on. They’re designed to stimulate your vagus nerve, which then is supposed to trigger a small boost in dopamine in your brain, subsequently relaxing you. I have no idea if they work, despite having used them for a solid half hour.
