Snapchat gets a big update today, with stickers, audio and video notes baked in

The chat app that all the cool kids love has received a huge update today. Snapchat 2.0 comes with a host of new and improved features, so let’s dive right in.

Chatting is now more seamless, and you can choose from more than 200 new stickers to express yourself. These can be searched by keyword, thankfully. Or you can send an audio or a ten-second video note if the person you’re trying to talk to isn’t available. All These Rumors And ‘Leaks’ Are Great For Nintendo

There’s been chatter about the Nintendo NX recently. None of it, as far as I know, is true. We saw two looks at a supposedly “leaked” controller that both turned out to be 100 percent fabrications, as well as a later round of reddit leaks that came with no form of verification at all. They were covered, with varying degrees of skepticism, here and elsewhere. It’s all the usual stuff you see in the games world: rumors, leaks and hoaxes all, along with people eager to grab some morsels of information dropped by notoriously tight-lipped companies. Right now, the focus seems to be on the NX.

Most gaming notebooks / laptops from boutique “builders” leverage platforms from larger ODMs (original design manufacturers), like Clevo or Compal, among a few others. Snapchat se actualiza introduciendo los Chats 2.0

Poco a poco, Snapchat se ha convertido en una de las redes sociales más utilizadas en todo el mundo, y es que gracias a su sencillez y a las novedades que ha ido introduciendo con el paso del tiempo, ha llegado a ser una red social divertida y útil con la que podemos compartir nuestros momentos con nuestros seguidores.

Hoy, tal y como podemos ver en su blog oficial,, sabemos que la red social de las imágenes con tiempo de caducidad, se ha actualizado con diferentes novedades en sus conversaciones, y nos introducen los denominados Chats 2.0. ¿Quieres ver en qué consisten? Te lo contamos a continuación.

Tal y como hemos podido ver, esta nueva actualización cargada de novedades en los chats, introducirá una gran cantidad de stickers –más de 200 para ser exactos–, además de otras funciones que ya podíamos ver en otros servicios de este tipo, como las notas de voz o la capacidad de enviar vídeos o GIF’s directamente desde el chat.

Además de lo anterior, Snapchat se ha centrado en destacar una nueva función denominada Auto-Advace Stories, que consistirá en reproducir automáticamente las historias una vez hayamos terminado de reproducir la anterior, y para terminar de reproducir estas historias, habrá que deslizar con el dedo por la pantalla hacia abajo.

Tal y como nos indican, estos Chats 2.0 tienen un objetivo predefinido, y no es otro que permitirnos la comunicación con nuestros contactos de la manera que deseemos, ya sea mediante texto, vídeo, voz, o, por supuesto, imágenes.

Por último, pero no por ello es menos importante, Snapchat informa que ha realizado algunos cambios en los términos del servicio y en su política de privacidad –sí, eso que nadie lee–, según ellos, para dejar algunos asuntos más claros, y sentando algunas bases para nuevos productos increíbles que llegarán pronto. ¿A qué productos se referirán?
