So far two of LG’s Friends for the G5 have been priced in the US – the Cam Plus module will go for $70 and the 360 Cam will cost $200. And now a third member of the Korean company’s accessory family has its pricing info revealed as well.
We’re talking about the 360 VR headset, which we already knew would cost £199 in the UK. Across the big pond, however, that will be $199.99. Oh, and you can pre-order one if you want to, the retailer you need to head to is B&H, which also has the 360 Cam up for grabs.
Unfortunately it doesn’t list a shipping date for the VR headset, so it’s unclear…

In a recent blog post, Alibaba‘s Executive Vice Chairman Joe Tsai, stated that the company had crossed RMB 3 trillion (or $476 billion) in GMV (gross merchandise value) for the fiscal year 2016 (ending March 31, 2016), tripling its GMV of RMB 1 trillion in 2012. This represents a 23% growth rate over the prior year, a rate that was slower than the 46% growth rate in GMV generated in fiscal year 2015. The company expects to double its GMV in the next four years and reach RMB 6 trillion by 2020, (a CAGR of 19%) as the Chinese economy shifts towards consumption and services. According to our estimates, Alibaba’s marketing revenue is less than 2% of its GMV and commissions are less than 3% of Tmall’s GMV. Thus the company’s revenues are a very small percentage of its gross merchandise value. Given the slowing growth in transaction volume, we believe the company should now focus on increasing revenues as a percentage of GMV. It can leverage its e-commerce ecosystem which delivers marketing, brand engagement and customer acquisition value to merchants and brands.
BlackBerry is all about the price cuts these days, it seems. Following the Passport’s price drop in the US earlier, now we find out that the Priv has become cheaper to purchase over in the UK.
That’s great news, because its original SIM-free price, £559, was a bit much. On the other hand, don’t expect miracles just yet – the drop isn’t a big one.
That said, you can now buy a BlackBerry Priv in the UK for only £529.99, still in SIM-free and unlocked form. It’s now being listed at that price both at Clove and Amazon.
The Priv runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and it comes with a…
