LG has uploaded the first TV ad for the G5 to its official YouTube channel. The ad is clearly meant to be just the first of many, which is obvious both from its content but also from its 15-second run time. It’s more of a teaser of what’s to come from the Korean company’s TV ad campaign in the near future, if you will.
The commercial does however helpfully confirm the phone’s April 1 release date for the US once more. So you’ll be able to walk into a store and leave with an LG G5 starting next Friday, it turns out.

Seguro que a estas alturas ya os suena bastante la marca Ulefone. Aquí, en Andro4all, ya os hemos hablado en varias ocasiones de sus teléfonos, como el Ulefone Vienna o el Ulefone Power, pero ahora, toca hablar del nuevo buque insignia que nos están preparando para este 2016.
Se trata del Ulefone Future, un terminal que promete ser lo mejor creado por la firma china hasta la fecha en todos los sentidos, sobre todo, en cuanto a potencia. Hoy hemos conocido que el smartphone ya se ha dado un paseo por AnTuTu, y lo cierto es que ha conseguido una buena puntuación.
Antes que nada, conviene repasar las características que sabemos hasta el momento del Ulefone Future. El equipo monta uno de los procesadores más modernos de MediaTek, el Helio P10, que está constituido por una CPU de 8 núcleos corriendo a 2 GHz, y la potente GPU Mali T860, que es un 20% más potente que la Mali T760 que equipan los teléfonos de Ulefone de 2015.
También sabemos que junto a este potente chipset trabajarán 4 GB de memoria RAM, aunque eso sí, este test de rendimiento que os mostramos a continuación se ha realizado con un prototipo que solo incorpora 3 GB de RAM. Por tanto, debemos esperar una cifra ligeramente superior con la versión final.
Como vemos, el Ulefone Future consigue superar los 50.000 puntos, un cifra que lo sitúa a la altura de flagships de 2015 como el HTC One M9 o el Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.
Además de lo potente que será, también sabemos que este smartphone tendrá un chasis unibody de aluminio, por lo que tendrá un aspecto premium, una pantalla sin apenas biseles, y lector de huellas dactilares. The Huawei P9 line isn’t the only big smartphone launch from a Chinese company happening on April 6. For whatever reason, Meizu has picked the exact same date to unveil the upcoming m3 note, the successor to the m2 note from last year. Perhaps Meizu wants to steal some of Huawei’s thunder or something.

Bungie began rolling out the new stuff coming for Destiny’s April update today with a livestream it called “things to do –” which sure seems to me like the main meat of what we all wanted to know. There’s a new strike which we don’t have a lot of information about yet, as well as a Taken remix of the Archon Priest strike. The Prison of Elders is clearly where we’re meant to spend our time for the next three months: it’s getting a new level 41 edition, along with a mashup with Trials of Osiris called Challenge of The Elders. That all comes with an increase in the max light level all the way to 335, enough to get us all running on that treadmill just a little bit further.
