And it confirms something that I had suspected, but hoped would not happen. Apple is forcing the fans of the four-inch form factor to buy many of their peripherals a second time.

Yesterday Microsoft finally commenced the rollout of updates to Windows 10 Mobile for older Lumia branded smartphones, after many months of testing through the Windows Insider program. On that occasion, the company released the list of handsets that are going to be receiving the update, but did not at the time clarify whether the list was final or not.
In the meantime, the company’s representatives have said that, essentially, no more phones will be added to the list in the future. And yet there could be an exception after all: Verizon’s Nokia Lumia Icon from 2014.

Si actualmente estás a la caza del smartphone perfecto, no lo vas a encontrar por mucho que busques. Afortunadamente, existe el Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, terminal que fue presentado hace aproximadamente un mes, y es lo que más se acerca al buque insignia sin fallos. De hecho, ahora el flagship coreano se suma otra victoria al palmarés, esta vez en el apartado fotográfico.
Aunque quizás era un secreto a gritos, ahora DxOMark lo ha hecho oficial. La célebre página web ha nombrado la cámara del Galaxy S7 edge como la mejor que podemos encontrar en un móvil. Como su predecesor antes que él, el Galaxy S7 edge se ha llevado la primera posición en el podio de los smartphones con las mejores cámaras, consiguiendo la increíble puntuación de 88 puntos.
Samsung reina de nuevo en el apartado fotográfico, y es que el destronado –o más bien los destronados– que ostentaba hasta hace poco el primer lugar era el Galaxy S6 edge+, empatado a puntos con el Sony Xperia Z5, concretamente 87. En tercera posición, tenemos a dos terminales también coreanos, el Galaxy Note 5 y el Galaxy S6 edge.
DxOMark, una de las firmas más prestigiosas a la hora de probar las cámaras de los terminales, ha elogiado al Galaxy S7 edge especialmente por el control de la exposición y el contraste, dos de las características más importantes en el apartado fotográfico de un teléfono. Por otro lado, en el apartado del enfoque automático, el Galaxy S7 edge ha recibido una de las puntuaciones más altas jamás vistas: 94 puntos.
Si observamos el gráfico, podemos ver que el Galaxy S7 edge también obtiene increíbles puntuaciones en los apartados de “texturas” y “ruido”, 91 y 89 puntos respectivamente. No obstante, el terminal sufre de un ligero tinte amarillento que aparece en fotografías con iluminación de tungsteno. Por otro lado, en escenas con un alto rango dinámico se observa como recortes parciales y algo de ruido, aunque muy leve.
En el apartado del vídeo, el Galaxy S7 edge sobresale términos de enfoque automático, estabilización bajos niveles de ruido. De esta manera, ahora Samsung domina la tabla de las mejores cámaras en smartphones, con cuatro de las cinco posiciones bajo su poder.

How quickly things can change. It was just a few short months ago that we in the gaming media were all fawning over Destiny’s The Taken King, announcing a bold rebirth for a quixotic but badly addictive franchise, and pushing our light levels up as quickly as we can. It’s a different story now. Players are upset, Destiny is languishing without new content, and The Division is muscling into the semi-MMO console shooter space. What was once one of the most interesting games on the market is slipping out of our consciousness.

According to a new report coming from some unnamed “developer sources”, Sony has started working on an upgraded version of its PlayStation 4 gaming console. This new iteration won’t be a totally revamped offering like a PS5.
Instead, it will have more GPU power than the PS4, in order to be able to support 4K gaming. Sony has already started briefing developers about it, the report goes on to say. They are calling the new product PS4.5, but that may just be a joke and not the actual commercial name of it.
The improved GPU in the new console will also help it enhance the games…

If I could remove all of my knowledge of Minecraft and go back and relearn the game, I would in a heartbeat
I've been playing Minecraft since early alpha and have seen the game progress SOOOO much. I have yet to feel that feeling I felt when I first discovered how amazing this game is playing any other game. I just wish I could go back and feel that feeling all over again…
