UPDATE: Galaxy S7 edge: Snapdragon 820 VS Exynos 8890 benchmark results

We’ve finally been able to get our hands on a Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and our benchmark results show how these two variants stand up to today’s other competitors.

Keep in mind that every benchmark is created differently and while either of these setups yield somewhat similar results, there are areas where one might be better at graphics while the other is better at raw calculations.

We’ve already updated our Galaxy S7 edge review with the second set of benchmark scores for your comparison pleasure.

Uber introduces Family Profiles, friends and family can ride on someone else’s bill

Uber has grown exponentially over the past few years, so you can imagine that it’s gained many loyal users by now. One of the features most requested by these users is the ability to easily pay for someone else’s ride or the ability to use one payment method on more than one account.

Uber has introduced Family profiles, users can add up to 10 close friends or family members to their “families” and they can share a payment method amongst themselves. Once you’ve downloaded the newest version of the app, users can invite others to become part of their Family Profile.

Leave Me Out Of Your Instagram Algorithm Bubble

Instagram—which is owned by Facebook—announced this week that it will soon begin to filter the pictures in your feed based on an algorithm. No longer will images be presented in the chronological order in which they’re posted. Instead, you will see the images the Instagram algorithm selects for you in the order the Instagram algorithm determines is best. The problem with algorithms, though, is that they create an artificial bubble that shields you from new experiences and perspectives.
