Waze 4.0
Waze gets a brand new interface in version 4.0 on Android, which makes the app easier to use. There are now fewer taps involved in starting navigation and sending locations and directions. The update also boasts of significantly reduced battery consumption.

Viki is a Wikipedia app for iOS that presents the pages in a beautiful layout that make reading long Wikipedia articles easier on your eyes. The app also shows articles related to your location, and you can also bookmark articles and maintain a history.

The Reuters TV app is now on Android. The app presents all the day’s news in a series of short video clips that play one after the other. You can choose the duration (the default is 15 minutes) and the entire series of clips spans that selected duration. It’s a great way to get an overview of all the events in quick, bitesize portions.

DIRAC is a fast-paced action game from Mediocre, developers of Smash Hit, Sprinkle, and Does not Commute. In DIRAC, you join dots of the same color, whether it’s red or blue. The dots keep coming and you have to be quick to quickly connect them to get rid of them. If you simply connect them you get rid of those dots but if you join them in a chain then all the dots within, regardless of the color, disappear. If you let too many dots escape then the game is over.

Telepaint is a fun retro-style puzzle game. You have to find all the keys in the level to reach your goal. You can control the character’s movement but you can tap on two portals to join them and teleport the character around the level. Parece que fue ayer cuando Samsung presentaba su primera tablet con Windows 10, sin embargo, hace casi tres meses y medio de dicho suceso. La firma coreana desveló la Galaxy TabPro S durante el CES Las Vegas con la intención de iniciar una nueva etapa como compañía tecnológica, y es que es el primer intento de ésta en la integración de Windows 10 y una tablet de grandes capacidades que, sin lugar a dudas, promete.
Al parecer, las buenas noticias no acaban aquí. Y es que, según fuentes cercanas al proyecto que preferían mantenerse en el anonimato, una vez sea lanzada al mercado, la Galaxy TabPro S será capaz de entenderse bastante bien con dispositivos como el Galaxy S6 o sus sucesores. La clave en este asunto tiene por nombre “Galaxy Continuity”, una funcionalidad con la que será posible integrar el terminal con la tablet.
Para conseguir este tipo de integración entre tablet y smartphone, bastará con descargarse una aplicación llamada “Flux D”. No obstante, para librarnos de preocupaciones, Samsung está considerando seriamente que esta app venga ya instalada de fábrica en la Galaxy TabPro S. Y es que, en realidad el funcionamiento no es muy complicado ya que nuestro terminal se conectará a la tablet por medio de Bluetooth.
Una vez se haya establecido la conexión, los usuarios de la Galaxy TabPro S podrán desbloquear la misma a través del lector de huellas del dispositivo de la línea Galaxy. Aunque quizás para algunos, esta funcionalidad no sea tan llamativa. Pues bien, también se podrán recibir y responder a las notificaciones recibidas en nuestro teléfono, a través de la tablet. Y es que, si hacemos memoria, las especificaciones de la Galaxy TabPro S son muy interesantes.
El dispositivo está gobernado por un procesador Intel Core M de sexta generación con dos núcleos a 2,2 GHz. Acompañando al chip, tendremos la respetable cantidad de 4 GB de RAM, junto a dos configuraciones de almacenamiento: una versión de 128 GB y otra de 256 GB, ambas memorias de tipo SSD. En cuanto a la pantalla, el tamaño del panel Super AMOLED será de 12 pulgadas, con una excelente resolución de 2160 x 1440 píxeles.
Como podemos, ver las características de la Galaxy TabPro S dejarán a más de uno con la boca abierta. Entre otras cosas, estas especificaciones garantizan que el dispositivo soporte hasta las tareas más pesadas. Desafortunadamente, todavía se desconoce el precio o la fecha de llegada al mercado.
