MIUI 7.2 starts hitting a second batch of Xiaomi devices

Last week, Xiaomi announced the roll-out of version 7.2 of its MIUI ROM, revealing that the update will hit devices in batches. The first batch that got the update included the Mi 5, Mi 4S, Mi Note Pro, Mi 4c, Mi Pad 1, Redmi Note 4G (Single SIM), and Redmi 1S.

The good news is that the update has started hitting the second batch of devices, too. These should include the Mi Note, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 2/2S, Mi Pad 2, Redmi 3, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4G (Dual SIM), Redmi Note 3G, Redmi 2A, and Redmi 2.

If your device falls in the second batch, you’ll soon received an OTA notification, if not already. Alternatively, those feeling impatient can also download the update package from official MIUI website (head to the MIUI link below).

Deal: Save $50 on Nexus 5X and up to $100 on Nexus 6P

Nexus fans aren’t suffering from a lack of deals lately. While nothing is likely to unseat the Project Fi offer of a $199 Nexus 5X for new Project Fi customers, a $50 discount on the already low-priced Nexus 5X is not too shabby, and the Nexus 6P has a couple deals of its own.

Today you have two different options to save yourself $50 off either the 16GB or 32GB version of the 5X.

The first option is from B&H and includes free shipping and no sales tax as long as you aren’t in New York. The only option they are missing is the Mint/Ice 32GB.

As it happens, the Google Store is celebrating its first birthday and is offering the exact same deal. You can check out the full complement of Nexus 5X options at the Google Store, As this is published the 16GB Mint/Ice version is the only one that is out of stock. Shipping is free, but you are going to be on the hook for sales tax.

Now, lest the Nexus 6P feel neglected, let’s take a look at its offers.

B&H is upping the ante slightly for the pricier Nexus and is not only taking $50 off the price, but it’s also throwing in a $50 gift card. Considering the wealth of products available at B&H, that’s almost as good as cash. Again, there’s free shipping and no tax for anyone not in New York.

And finally, the Nexus 6P direct from the Google Store. You will save the same $50 as with the Nexus 5X and, at the moment, you will still eligible for a $50 credit towards a Huawei Watch as well. Check out the full list of Nexus 6P options on the Google Store. The two big differences are the 128GB option that B&H doesn’t carry and the Frost option.

Susurros de los Dioses Antiguos, la nueva expansión de Hearthstone anunciada por Blizzard

Hace ya un tiempo que Hearthstone llegó de forma oficial, primero para nuestras tablets y posteriormente para los smartphones, siendo un título original de PC. Sus éxitos han sido muchos, llevando ya unas cuantas expansiones a sus espaldas con nuevas aventuras y cartas con los que mejorar poco a poco nuestro mazo.

De hecho, conocimos también que Hearthstone obtiene unas mayores ganancias gracias a los jugadores que disfrutan del título desde su teléfono móvil que aquellos que lo hacen desde PC, aunque evidentemente la misma cuenta sirve para una plataforma que para otra. Pues bien, esta misma tarde de Viernes Blizzard ha presentado su nueva expansión Susurros de los Dioses Antiguos (Whisper of The Old Golds), ¿quieres conocer de que tratará?

Los Dioses Antiguos, protagonistas de esta próxima expansión

Aquellos que no conozcáis quienes son los Dioses Antiguos en Warcraft, debéis saber que son unas deidades maléficas que gobernaron durante un largo tiempo Azeroth antes de ser derrotadas por los Titanes y mantenerse presas bajo tierra.

Se trata de una expansión de cartas, que no de aventuras como podría ser la Liga de Expedicionarios. Contará con un total de 137 cartas nuevas, las cuales muchas de ellas serán esbirros con las habilidades centradas en mejorar las características de sus señores cuando estén en el tablero.

El total de Dioses Antiguos serán 4, y seguramente algunos de ellos os suenen: C’thun, Y’Shaarj, Yogg-Saron y N’Zoth. Por ejemplo, C’thun costará 10 cristales de maná y poseerá 6 de ataque y 6 de defensa. Teniendo en cuenta que los esbirros servirán a esta deidad, la carta irá mejorando en el tablero con los poderes que absorba de ellos.

Hay una buena noticia para todos aquellos que tengan pensado jugar, y es que cualquier persona que se conecte al juego una vez que sea lanzada la expansión, recibirá tres sobres de cartas totalmente gratuitos, pero es que además una de ellas será de forma segura C’thun junto con dos Cautivadora del Mal.

Y si tenéis pensado en haceros con más sobres pagando, debéis saber que a partir del 15 de marzo podréis reservar 50 sobres de esta expansión por 44,99 euros. De momento podéis descargar Hearthstone gratuitamente desde Google Play.

Por último, se añadirán dos nuevas formas de jugar cuando se lance Susurros de los Dioses Antiguos. Una es el modo estándar, que será con el que confeccionaréis los mazos con las cartas de la temporada, y otro es el modo Salvaje, con el que podréis jugar con todas las cartas publicadas hasta el momento. Recordad que tenemos alguna guía sobre mazos que os puede interesar.

Desde luego que Susurros de los Dioses Antiguos es una expansión de Hearthstone que muchos estaréis esperando como agua de Mayo, precisamente a principios del mismo mes es cuando se espera su lanzamiento, algo que os explican desde Gizmodo. ¿Estáis ahorrando ya mucho oro para haceros con los sobres?

Use Samsung Pay on your Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, get a free $30 gift card

Samsung has launched yet another promotional offer hoping to help the adoption of its mobile payments service. This one is aimed at fresh owners of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge duo, handsets which only became available today (though pre-orders have been shipped three days ago).

It’s simple, really. Set up Samsung Pay on your S7 or S7 edge, make an in-store payment using the service, and you’ll receive a free $30 gift card. If you use Bank of America debit cards or private label cards to complete that first transaction though, you won’t be eligible for the gift card.

As for the gift cards themselves, you can choose one from the following merchants: Best Buy, eBay, Whole Foods, Nike, or Regal Cinema. After you’ve made the aforementioned qualifying transaction using Samsung Pay, you’ll see a pop-up informing you about the gift card offer, which is when you choose one of these merchants.

The pretty obvious caveat is that the promo is US-only. Also, it’s only going to be valid until March…
