Aunque Samsung es una de las compañías con unos de los smartphones más potentes del mercado como lo son el Samsung Galaxy S7 y el Galaxy S7 Edge, también se preocupan por aquellos consumidores que o bien no están dispuestos a pagar el precio tan elevado de sus buques insignia, no pueden permitírselos o simplemente no les interesa.
Por ello, hoy mismo la firma ha anunciado dos de sus dispositivos más económicos e igualmente limitados, en una misma línea que los del año pasado. Aquellos que quieran una potencia desmesurada ya les avisamos que no son sus móviles adecuados, pero en cambio los que únicamente los usen para llamar, navegar, utilizar apps de mensajería o incluso hacer alguna foto, podrían estar interesados.
Evidentemente, Samsung ha dado las especificaciones de los móviles al mismo tiempo que anunciaba los dos dispositivos. Para la versión del Samsung Galaxy J1 del 2016, sus características, tal y como explican en Sammobile, son las siguientes:
Pantalla de 4,5 pulgadas WVGA Super AMOLED
Cámara principal de 5 megapíxeles, frontal de 2 megapíxeles
Su sistema operativo es Android 5.1 Lollipop
Procesador Exynos 3475 quad-core que funciona a 1,3GHz
Memoria RAM de 1GB
Memoria interna de 8 GB, ampliable gracias a la ranura microSD
Batería de 2.050 mAh
En su versión aún más limitada nos encontramos con el Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini, cuyas características son las siguientes:
Pantalla de 4 pulgadas WVGA TFT
Cámara principal de 5 megapíxeles, la frontal es una VGA
Procesador de 1,2Ghz quad-core
Memoria RAM de 768MB
8 GB de memoria interna del teléfono, ampliable gracias a la ranura microSD
Batería de 1.500 mAh
Los dos dispositivos estarán disponibles en los colores negro, dorado y blanco. Todavía se desconocen los precios de los mismos, aunque es evidente que serán bastante asequibles, sobretodo en el caso del Galaxi J1 Mini.Aún así, recordad que siguen habiendo otros muchos smartphones económicos en el mercado. ¿Os interesan a vosotros los dispositivos de tan baja potencia?

LG has announced that its recently unveiled G5 flagship smartphone is going to land in the US sometime in early April. Oddly enough the company hasn’t revealed the actual release date for the handset, but that could very well be April 8 – because the G5 is launching on that day in both Canada and the UK.
You’ll find the G5 in stock at such carriers and retailers as AT&T, Best Buy, B&H, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Verizon. Prices are still not known though.
Emulating a promotion that we’ve seen run many times for last year’s G4 and V10, LG will give people who buy a G5 in the US a free second battery and charging cradle. This offer will be available for a limited time, but the company hasn’t said exactly how long you’ll have to take advantage of it.
At the same time as the phone, LG will also release the G5 Friends in the US. These are the modular accessories that were presented at MWC last month. Some of these help ‘transform’ the G5 into things like a “DSLR style camera” or a mobile virtual reality viewer.
