Microsoft is attempting to pull off a rear feat that may be hard for its competitors to emulate. The team at Microsoft Research is deploying a balloon in the stratosphere loaded with sensors and cameras, which is connected to the Azure IoT platform. The balloon will send real-time telemetry along with live flight video.

Es innegable que Huawei se ha hecho un hueco entre las compañías referentes en la fabricación de smartphones chinos, ya sea por sus series Mate o su popular línea de dispositivos “Huawei P”, a parte de ser los encargados de los últimos Google Nexus.
Precisamente, en esta ocasión volvemos al nuevo miembro de la família “P”, el Huawei P9, que tras varios rumores de todo tipo, por fin conocemos cuándo y dónde será presentado. Este P9 viene tras el éxito de su hermano pequeño, el P8, el cual destacó sobretodo por ser muy delgado y a la vez muy bonito.
Aunque hasta el momento desconocíamos la fecha exacta de presentación, no había duda de que este Huawei P9 estaba al caer. De hecho, fue el mismo @evleaks, popular usuario de Twitter famoso por sus filtraciones, quien anunció antes que nadie que su presentación se llevaría a cabo durante la primera semana de abril:

Hoy pero, Huawei ha decidido al fin pronunciarse y ha publicado la foto oficial de la presentación de este Huawei P9 en la que se marca el 6 de abril como el día en que será presentado en Londres. En el cartel, también se añade el eslogan “Cambia la manera con la que ves el mundo”, junto al hashtag #OO, ambos relacionados con la rumoreada doble cámara trasera que podría integrar.
También es muy probable que el P9 incorpore lo último en procesadores Kirin, el 950, una batería de 4000 mAh, 3 GB de RAM y una pantalla de 5,2 pulgadas. Además, se espera también el anuncio del Huawei P9 Premium, una especie de P9 pero con algunas de sus cualidades llevadas a otro nivel, como por ejemplo una pantalla de mayor dimensión.
Por lo que respecta al los Huawei P9 Max y Lite pero, no se ha oído ninguna filtración más, así que puede que vayan a ser presentados más tarde o nunca. Así pues, solo queda esperar al 6 de abril para descubrir como será el nuevo miembro de una de las familias más prestigiosas de Huawei. Cabe recordar también que en abril HTC también presentará su nuevo “tope de gama”, con el que seguro que se verá las caras en más de una ocasión.

US carriers are doubling down on the Samsung Galaxy S7 – literally! AT&T is offering a “buy one, get one free” deal for new and existing users, even business users are welcome.
You can get the Galaxy S7 edge instead, but the second phone will still be an S7. That’s if you want it for free, you can instead use the credit to purchase an S7 edge if you splurge some extra.
Note that the first phone can be a new line or an upgrade, but the second must be a new line on AT&T Next 24. In fact, both phones need to be on a Next plan.
You can get unlimited data if you have DirectTV or U-Verse, otherwise you get a 10GB plan (you have the option to keep your old one).
If you already bought an S7 earlier (starting February 26), don’t shake your fist at the sky – your account will be credited for the second phone.
At sale you just pay the taxes on both phones, then after three months you will start receiving up to $695 in credit spread over 30 months. It’s a complicated deal, so ask around your local AT& shop.
By the way, T-Mobile will allegedly launch a similar “2-for-1″…
