Xiaomi Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus specs and prices outed by a retailer

Xiaomi is supposed to unveil the Mi 5 in a few hours at the MWC 2016, but a retailer has already jumped the gun and published all the information online. XiaomiDevice listed both the Xiaomi Mi 5 and Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus on its website with pictures, specs, and prices.

We already knew the specs of both devices from the rumor mill, but in case you need a refresh, here is a quick one.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be packing a 5.2″ 2K (1440×2560) IPS display and will run on Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB of RAM. The rest of the specs include a 16MP rear snapper with a dual-LED flash and a front 8MP selfie shooter. You can opt for a 16GB or 64GB models, and since there is no memory expansion available, you should probably get the latter. Gold, White, and Black are your color options.

The Mi 5 Plus is almost the same device but with a bigger screen. It will offer either 5.7″ or 6.0″ big 2K IPS display, a larger battery, and will be available in 64GB flavor only.

XiaomiDevice lists the 16GB Mi 5 for $499.99, while the 64GB models cost $599.99. The Mi 5 Plus is also listed at $599.99.

The Mi 5 lineup is going to be unveiled tomorrow, so the speculations will be over soon.

Así es el smartphone más potente del mundo

Esta semana nos estamos centrando casi por completo en el Mobile World Congress que se está produciendo en Barcelona, aunque algunas de las compañías que no están presentes en ella, como es en el caso de Xiaomi con el Mi 5, también tienen que decir mucho de su parte. Otros de los casos es el que nos trae hoy un smartphone que nos logra sorprender por sus especificaciones, aunque también por su aparición por sorpresa en estos instantes.

Se trata del vivo XPlay 5, terminal móvil que quiere competir contra las grandes marcas y no precisamente por quedarse con las gamas medias o bajas, sino por las altas. El hecho de que sea así se argumenta en que por especificaciones, será el dispositivo más potente del mundo.

Ayer ya hablábamos de este smartphone y de sus muchas y buenas cualidades, pero no habíamos obtenido demasiada información sobre su diseño y mucho menos de su día de presentación oficial, algo que nos dejaba claramente con las ganas tratándose de un móvil tan potente.

Pues hoy mismo y gracias a la información proveniente de GSMArena hemos podido observar algunas cuantas más imágenes filtradas por Weibo del propio dispositivo. A muchos os recordará al Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge o al recién presentado Edge 7, ya que su pantalla es curva a los lados, tratándose además de un dispositivo ultra fino y muy elegante.

Se ha filtrado también una imagen de su parte trasera, en el que podemos observar el sensor de huella dactilar, la cámara principal y los flashes, uno a cada lado.

Lo más importante de todo es que no tendremos que esperar demasiado a conocer más sobre él, ya que oficialmente hemos conocido que se presentará el día 1 de Marzo, es decir, en una semana exacta. Recordad que entre sus grandes cualidades se encuentran ser el primer smartphone con 6 GB de memoria RAM y la posesión en sus entrañas del procesador Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, algo que no puede dejar indiferente a nadie.

Son muchas las opciones de compra que vamos a tener durante este año, haciéndose los terminales chinos un buen hueco entre ellas. ¿Qué os parece a vosotros el Vivo Xplay 5 y qué pensáis sobre los terminales chinos?

Ten Things I Wish I Knew When I Started ‘Far Cry Primal’

Yesterday, I published my scored review of Far Cry Primal, which I thought was pretty good, and I don’t regret the 18 hours I sunk into it. That may not exactly be glowing praise, but it’s a solid title and the prehistoric setting is indeed a lot of fun, even if the game very clearly channels past games despite the time jump.

A funny story when I first heard of Minecraft

So this was when I was 11, I was in school and there was this kid everyone in the class seemed to like, of which every class basically has at least one.

And he was talking about, well, Minecraft. I haven't seen nor heard anything about it before. And all he told it was awesome and the name was "Minecraft" he never told anything about the game itself (graphics, gameplay, etc)

So I only had the name to work off, I had no PC at the time.

Now with just the name, this might sound weird, but it was legitemately what I thought off. I thought…that it was a space-themed shooter.

That was strangly enough what I first thought.

After about two years, I got a PC for about six months now, I remember it again and I searched it up. And well, here I am another 3 years later, still loving the game as much and still enjoying it everyday.
