Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge spotted at Zauba, screen sizes confirmed

Already been the subject of several rumors and leaks, Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge – have now been spotted on Zauba, a website which tracks India’s import and export.

As you might already know, the SM-G930R4 and SM-G935R4 are rumored model numbers of the S7 and S7 edge, respectively. And their Zauba listing reveals that the former sports a 5.1-inch screen, while the curved screen variant has a 5.5-inch display.

If you recall, this is inline with the information we exclusively reported last month. Also, just days ago, the Galaxy S7 (the Exynos variant) was spotted on Antutu, revealing a 5.1″ QHD display.

Docker ahora va a por los unikernels

unikernel

‘Far Cry Primal’s’ Demo Was Fun For 20 Minutes… What About 20 Hours?

Far Cry Primal takes a bold step in a new direction and for them it is paying off. I played the demo at Sony’s PlayStation experience and before this demo I had my doubts, now… not so much. Ignoring the old argument that Far Cry Primal looks like another Far Cry game (the same argument could be made about every franchise game ever…), this takes us into a very well fleshed out world that we’ve almost never gotten to explore in video games before. You play as the first human being to ever tame beasts making you part of the very beginnings of civilization.

BlackRock’s First Israeli ETF ‘iShares TA25’ Listing On LSE Could Appeal

Does the iShares TA25 Israel UCITS ETF from BlackRock, which became the first Israeli exchange traded fund (ETF) to list on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) this Wednesday and offers institutional and retail investors access to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s (TASE) flagship index, the Tel Aviv 25 Index (TA-25), merit investing in? It ticks certainly a few boxes.

Culture Wars: Star Wars Underperforms in China and the Differences Emerge

Globally, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has generated $1.8 billion (as of January 18, 2016) since it opened in North America throughout the month of December 2015. The movie opened in China on January 9th and was top of the box office for two weekends in a row. It ranked 2nd in opening day revenues, behind the 2015 launch of Fast and Furious 7, a movie that holds other revenue records as well. The Force Awakens did take the top ranking for a movie to have opened on a Saturday night, however. And, it surpassed $100 million in Chinese ticket sales this week (total non-US revenues have exceeded $1 billion thus far). Disney, the owner of Star Wars as of 2012, benefits from sales of movie tickets, Disney Interactive’s Infinity Star Wars line, licensed products, and digital games. In China, consumers appear to love the licensed products, moderately enjoy the movie, and are ho-hum about the digital games (though the official Electronic Arts console game Star Wars: Battlefront has yet to be approved or launched in China).
