Deal: Moto X Pure Edition for $349 on Amazon

It may be the season of holiday deals, but Amazon is always in the mood to give you a great sale. Today’s Amazon Gold Box Deal is a fantastic one, offering you $100 off of the list price of the Motorola Moto X Pure Edition. The Moto X Pure Edition is regularly listed at $449.99 for the 32GB model, but for today only, Amazon is selling the 32GB Moto X Pure Edition for just $349 in black or white color options.

Amazon is also offering $100 off of the price of the 32GB white and bamboo Moto X Pure Edition, putting it at just $374.99. This is a spectacular deal, as the Moto X Pure Edition is one of the best Android phones on the market. It offers powerful hardware, such as a 5.7-inch QHD display, 21-megapixel camera and Motorola’s TurboPower charging, which is the fastest mobile charging technology currently on the market, giving you 10 hours of use after just 15 minutes of charging. All of that great hardware is then paired with nearly stock Android software, with just a couple of very useful tweaks from Motorola. Best of all, it’s completely carrier unlocked, allowing you to use it on any operator of your choice.

The Star Wars Gift Guide for the Whole Family

I have been researching toys for the past five years and one thing I’ve noticed every holiday season is this: parents feel overwhelmed by licensed toys. Oftentimes, they buy them only to check off a list (to get it out of the way) rather than thinking that the toy benefits the child.  Each year, as new heroes and heroines capture little kids’ hearts, parents just end up buying more of the same but with a new face on the cover. This makes shopping rather dreadful and the cycle continues each year. Not surprisingly, licensed toys sales has grown 7 percent totaling 31 percent of all toy sales.
