A menudo muchos de nosotros a la hora de adquirir un nuevo dispositivo para nuestro uso personal nos fijamos al detalle en las especificaciones y no tenemos en cuenta otros factores muy importantes, como es el soporte de actualizaciones. Aún a día de hoy, muchos fabricantes incluso los más destacados suelen olvidar muy fácilmente algunos dispositivos que no obtienen un volumen de ventas tan alto, como es el caso de las tablets.
Un fabricante que desde el primer momento se ha comprometido y así ha sido es NVIDIA. Aún sin ser su principal foco de ventas, tanto en su primer NVIDIA Shield Tablet como su renovación, la Shield Tablet K1 han sido actualizadas pronto y rápido.
De nuevo, la firma se compromete a ofrecer el soporte y hoy mismo, gracias a AndroidAuthority hemos podido visualizar en vídeo los cambios que traerá en su próxima gran actualización, que no será otra que a Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Siguiendo el orden, de entrada obtendremos una renovación de la aplicación cámara para realizar fotografías. No es el principal objetivo de estos productos, pero desde luego el resultado es más que aceptable y nos sacará de más de una ocasión.
Manteniendo la interfaz prácticamente nativa, obviamente disfrutaremos del renovado cajón de aplicaciones con scroll vertical y una barra de búsqueda en la parte superior, ideal para encontrar aquellas aplicaciones que se esconden entre todas las demás.
Tanto el nuevo menú de ajustes, como la excelente función “Now on Tap” y muchas más también estarán presentes en la gran actualización para los dispositivos de NVIDIA, mejorando la productividad de forma notable.
Tampoco no nos podemos olvidar del principal objetivo, como son los juegos. Gracias a la nueva función de Marshmallow, podremos usar cualquier tarjeta microSD incorporada al dispositivo como si se tratara de un disco duro, permitiendo almacenar gran cantidad de juegos o todo aquello que deseemos.
Esto es lo más relevante, pero seguro que con el paso del tiempo nos sorprenden más y más.

There’s this uh-oh moment — as soon as your smartphone slips away from your hand — that you re-live in your head for a week. Unfortunately for me, that moment occurred two weeks ago as I helplessly watched my iPhone land face down on the bathroom tile. I paused for a second, before picking it up and turning it over — only to see my worst cell phone fear realized. The screen had shattered into a dozen pieces. I’ll get it repaired soon, but it still operates with tape covering the sharpest remaining fragments.
