Is Technology Ruining Your Experience At Work?

This is part of a series of posts exploring the employee experience, that is, creating a place where employees actually want to show up, not where they need to show up. This series will explore what I define as the three employee experience environments that all organizations much focus on which are: physical, cultural, and technological. This is a growing area that I am extremely passionate about because it sees organizations shifting away from thinking of work as a utility to actually focusing on creating what Pat Wadors (the chief Human Resources Officer of Linkedin) calls “beautiful experiences.”

Aimed at reading fans, the tablet also includes a Blue Shade feature that the company claims adjusts and optimizes the device’s display to reduce blue light exposure, allowing you to read comfortably at night.

HTC’s monthly revenue hits six-month high in November

Struggling smartphone manufacturer HTC saw its monthly revenue jump to a six-month high in the month of November. The figure stood at NTD 10.29 billion ($314.32 million) last month, up 15% compared to October.

There’s no doubt that the Taiwanese company’s latest smartphone – the One A9 – played an important role in this, helping the company ramp up its sales. The device was launched in the US early last month, and also went on sale in the UK a few days later. Sales are expected to increase further this month due to holiday season and as well as the release of the handset in more markets.

However, despite this silver lining, HTC’s struggle is far from over – the company’s November revenues were still down 40% compared to last…
