Meet T-Rex, The Awesome Mecha Toy Designers You’ve Likely Never Heard Of

A few weeks back I got to meet up with Keiichiro Maeno, one of the directors of a toy design studio called T-Rex. While they may be small, over the years they?ve designed a huge number of toys from a variety of the Valkyries in Macross to all manner of other gaming related figures too. They?re an interesting outfit and one of only a few in Japan, so I jumped at the chance to find out more about what they do.

Can Compassion Contribute To Success?

Compassion. It is a word we often hear talked about when it comes to religion, but it is not a word used often enough when it comes to discussing what makes a business successful. Yet compassion can directly affect the bottom line. The Dalai Lama expressed it best when he said, “Compassion is not religious business, it is human business.” Indeed, compassion helps leaders be successful, it helps employees become successful, and ultimately it contributes to making companies a success.

Launch of Orbital ATK Commercial Resupply Mission to the International Space Station

Orbital ATK’s Cygnus cargo spacecraft launches aboard United Launch Alliance’s Atlas V rocket on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4:44:56 p.m. EST from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
