Monster Castle es un tower defense con un gran multijugador

Que viene bien darle la vuelta a la historia y que lo malvados sean los humanos y los monstruos los buenos es algo que hemos podido ver en algunos videojuegos que han tenido un gran éxito. Ese héroe típico con su gran espada se puede llegar a convertir en el jefe final que debemos de destruir, antes de que con su habitual forma de enfrentarse a los distintos monstruos irrumpa ante nuestro castillo para destrozarlo y convertirlo en unas ruinas que pasen a convertirse en el destino de variados turistas en posteriores siglos.

Monster Castle es uno de esos videojuegos que le da una vuelta de tuerca a la historia bonita de héroes y bellas y engalanadas princesas para que nos vayamos al lado oscuro de la película al ser los monstruos que intentarán evitar que esos malvados humanos arremetan contra aquello que no es suyo. Así que id preparando vuestras estrategias para levantar un ejército de monstruos, construir un buen castillo y conseguir que nuestro clan salga victorioso en Monster Castle, un divertido videojuego que conseguirá que estas tardes de frío tengan otro tono y otras temperaturas.

Defiéndete de esos malvados humanos

Monster Castle ha llegado esta semana a la Play Store como un videojuego que combina varios elementos en el gameplay como son la construcción de castillos con recursos, el combate multijugador y incluso lo que es mejorar en habilidades al héroe de turno que tendremos bajo nuestro control.

Un título que fue lanzado en su momento en Windows Phone y que su gran objetivo es construir y defiende tu castillo del ataque de otros jugadores. Para que esto sea más fácil tenemos un tutorial al principio que nos enseñará el aspecto básico del juego, algo que se agradece para no caer de primeras ante las fauces de esos jugadores que intentarán salir victoriosos en esas partidas multijugador.

Aparte de poder atacar a otros de forma online, también tendréis la gran oportunidad de formar alianzas y entrar en batallas de clanes. Tendremos en nuestra mano la ventaja de una gran variedad de unidades a la vez que acceder a un buen armamento en el que podemos encontrar arcos, cañones y e incluso torres que lanzarán llamas a los enemigos para desistirlos de su objetivo que no es otro que destrozar tu castillo y no dejar un muro en pie.

La estrategia y gran multijugador

Este es el tipo de juego que, si eres un fan de Clash of Clans, debes de instalar si o si, ya que incluye algunos elementos de este mismo aunque con una vista en 2D y otras facetas en el juego que lo colocan en una muy buena posición para que sea uno de tus juegos favoritos estas Navidades. Unas Navidades donde podemos tener más tiempo para poder disfrutar de juegos como este.

Es en el aspecto multijugador donde esté videojuego da con la tecla adecuada para que los cientos de jugadores que vayan introduciéndose a el vayan formando alianzas, una de las cualidades del gran Clash of Clans y que le da mucha vida al juego en si para que se pase unos cuantos meses instalado en tu smartphone Android.

Un juego que tienes disponible de forma gratuita desde la Play Store pero que contiene las inevitables compras dentro de la aplicación. Algo ya habitual y que en un juego como este no podía faltar. Así que si eres un fan de los juegos de estrategia no faltes a la cita con Monster Castle.

En el aspecto técnico

Cumple perfectamente en este sentido con unos gráficos que pueden recordar a World of Warcraft por el uso de colores llamativos. Las animaciones, los personajes y la banda sonora, al igual que los efectos sonoros, tienen mucha calidad así que no se le puede echar nada en cara. Lo único que los héroes para comprar costarán lo suyo para hacerse con uno si no se pasa por caja, pero es algo que se espera de un título así que ha de recuperar beneficios para que podamos tener nuevas actualizaciones que sumen calidad y contenido.

BlackBerry’s 3Q 2016 financial results to be announced on December 18

BlackBerry has scheduled an event to report its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal 2016. Beginning at 8am ET on December 18, the announcement will take place in a conference call and a webcast. Hands-on with the OnePlus Sandstone case for the iPhone 6/6s

OnePlus caused quite the buzz a few days ago, when it announced the Sandstone case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Wait, what? A smartphone maker is releasing a case for a smartphone made by another smartphone maker? The internet was bewildered.

It’s fair to say then that the marketing stunt did what it was supposed to. People were talking and OnePlus was in the news thanks to a piece of plastic. We got one too and figured we’d share a few impressions.

First up – presentation. The case comes in a box, made to a standard well worthy of holding a phone, not the tacky plastic or thin cardboard packages in which most other cases arrive at your doorstep. The pullout tab in the signature OnePlus red color is a nice touch, both functionally and in terms of design.

Inside there’s a plastic scratch card that in our case held an invite for an Onyx OnePlus X, but others may be for the Ceramic version. The luckiest of buyers might be getting a free smartphone, OnePlus announced.

The case itself is very well made and is an excellent fit for an iPhone 6s. We didn’t have an iPhone 6 lying around to test it, but we figure that OnePlus knows what it’s doing by advertising it for both models. The minuscule difference of 0.2mm in thickness is unlikely to be of significance.

The case measures 138.7 x 70.2 x 10.5mm, and covers the back and the sides, but not the top and bottom. Still the extreme corners are reasonably well protected. The camera doesn’t stick out either – the back is thick enough to keep it recessed.

We’re polarized on the surface, just as we were about the OnePlus 2. The general opinion is that the coarse texture evokes the same feeling you get when someone scratches a chalk board. Then again there were those of us that appreciate that the material doesn’t hold fingerprints, and is naturally very grippy too.

Now, it’s debatable whether iPhone users would be inclined to put on a case made by OnePlus. Not only that, but it completely covers the Apple logo, replacing it with OnePlus’ and that seems like a big no-no. That aside, the case is pretty good if you’re okay with the texture.
