OnePlus 2 going invite-free forever on December 5, other deals in tow

For anyone that has been eyeing a potential purchase of a OnePlus 2 but hasn’t wanted to navigate the invite system, the manufacturer’s latest announcement should be a welcomed one.

On December 3, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus 2 will be going invite-free forever beginning at midnight on December 5. That means that anyone that wants to buy the OnePlus 2 can do so without using the invite system, hopefully making the purchase process much easier and faster. With this move, OnePlus is making the OnePlus 2 invite-free just four months after the device’s launch, which is a markedly improved strategy compared to the OnePlus One going invite-free almost a year after it launched.

The OnePlus X is also going invite-free, but only for a limited time. For a potential customer to get that particular handset without an invite, you’ll need to purchase it between December 5 and December 7. OnePlus also states that if you want either one of the handsets by the end of the month, in time for the holiday festivities, orders need to be placed by December 7.

There are a few other noteworthy deals being launched by OnePlus, too:

Nuevo Huawei Enjoy 5S, características, precio y comparación versus su gama

Tal y como anunció la firma china, hoy día 3 de Diciembre se ha presentado el nuevo terminal de Huawei, el Enjoy 5S. Casi dos meses después de ser presentado su hermano menor, el Enjoy 5, y de salir a la venta el Huawei Nexus 6P, nos llega un nuevo Android de gama media más a tener en cuenta.

El primer terminal de la gama “Enjoy” que conocimos fue el Enjoy 5, que destacaba por ser un terminal de gama media “justita” pero con una batería de 4000 mAh o 2 GB de RAM. De hecho, sus defectos más grandes son un grosor de 9,7 mm y una pantalla de 720×1280 píxeles.

Hoy pero, venimos a hablar de la nueva alternativa de Huawei para reafirmarse en la gama media china, el Huawei Enjoy 5S. Primero de todo, echémosle un ojo a sus características:

A simple vista vemos que este terminal no pretende aspirar a lo más alto de la gama media pero tampoco quiere pasar desapercibido. Si en algo ha mejorado en gran cantidad respecto al Huawei 5, es su apartado físico.

Con idénticamente las mismas dimensiones, Huawei ha conseguido un acabado de apariencia metálica con los bordes redondeados y un color dorado, plateado y “gris titanio” bastante conseguidos. A parte, incorpora el lector de huellas en la parte trasera, de forma cuadrada, parecido al del Elephone p8000.

En términos de cámara, el Enjoy 5S opta por 13 megapíxeles en la trasera y 5 en la frontal, típica combinación dentro de la gama media. Hace falta destacar pero que este 5S viene con Android 5.1 Lollipop con la “dura” capa de personalización Emui 3.1, que no ha sido muy aceptada en Europa, ni en terminales Huawei ni en Oppo.

Sus puntos fuertes por lo tanto son el lector de huellas al estilo Huawei Nexus 5P, un precio adecuado y un grosor bastante reducido respecto su hermano menor. A grosso modo, es un terminal bastante parecido al bq Aquaris E5, exceptuando el acento chino presente en el Enjoy 5S.

En definitiva, compraremos este terminal si queremos un Android de gama media barato pero con características dignas para ser usado en el día día. Se podría decir que el Huawei Enjoy 5S es la definición de gama media. Si le das importancia a un terminal bonito, necesitas un lector de huellas y una batería justa de un día, y eres capaz de soportar Emui 3.1, adelante, este es tu terminal.

Huawei vuelve a entrar fuerte así dentro de la gama media, que sigue apostando por MediaTek como núcleo de la gama Enjoy. Siempre y cuando llegue a España con el mismo precio, de seguro que plantará cara a sus competidores chinos.
