New, enhanced version of the YU Yuphoria might be on the way
A few months ago YU introduced the Yuphoria, a mid-range offering with a pretty good price. And now it looks like the Indian company is already working on an enhanced version of this device, or perhaps its successor.
While the original Yuphoria bears the model number YU5010, a new Yuphoria YU6000 has been spotted in the GFXBench database. As usual, this means a handy list of the phone’s most important specs has been leaked.
It turns out that this Yuphoria will be better-equipped when compared to its predecessor. It shall bring a 4.6-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 12 or 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie shooter, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of built-in storage. At the helm we find the MediaTek MT6753 chipset with a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720 GPU.
The new Yuphoria could make its debut alongside the much-teased Yutopia, which will be YU’s new flagship offering. An announcement date hasn’t been set yet, but since the company is already teasing the Yutopia we assume it won’t be long before it becomes official.

Pebble Classic, Pebble Time, and Pebble Time Steel get nice discounts
As we’re entering sales season (and special promotions are everywhere), smartwatch specialist Pebble has decided to join the fray. The company is now offering pretty nice discounts for three of its products.
The Pebble Classic can now be yours for $69.99, which is $30 less than usual. The Pebble Time is now $129.99, $70 less than its normal price, while the Pebble Time Steel is now offered for $199.99, down from $249.99.
Unfortunately for those outside the US, these price cuts are only valid stateside. Elsewhere the watches have unchanged pricing structures. Perhaps such promos will arrive in other parts eventually, but for now you can only take advantage if you are in the US.

Samsung escuchará a los usuarios y recuperará características en el futuro Galaxy S7
A pesar de no haber cumplido todavía un año en el mercado con el Samsung Galaxy S6, gracias a diferentes filtraciones, ya sabemos algunas características del próximo tope de gama de la firma coreana, el Galaxy S7. Numerosos rumores apuntan a que serán anunciadas dos versiones del dispositivo, una más pequeña y otra algo más grande. El modelo de mayor tamaño, según las filtraciones, será el S7 Edge, con una panel más grande, además de tener el aliciente de ser flexible.
Características filtradas hasta el momento
El resto de características harán que el futuro Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge sea una bestia de terminal ya que incorporará un procesador de la serie Exynos 8 Octa o un Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. El tipo de chip dependerá en el lugar del planeta donde se comercialice el dispositivo puesto que se prevé que en Europa y América se adopte el Snapdragon 820, mientras que en Asia y en India, el procesador elegido será de la serie Exynos 8 Octa, fabricado por la propia Samsung.
Acompañando al SoC en sus tareas más arduas tendremos 4 GB de RAM, una elevada cantidad de memoria de la que no muchos dispositivos presumen por el momento. En el apartado fotográfico Samsung ha optado por incorporar un cámara de 20 megapíxeles BRITECELL en la trasera, además del ya inevitable para el futuro puerto USB tipo-C. Tenemos entre manos unas supuestas características que harían del Galaxy S7 un auténtico tope de gama, mejorando en muchos aspectos a su antecesor.
Nueva información sobre el Samsung Galaxy S6
Hoy, gracias a diversas fuentes internas, hemos sabido algo más del futuro terminal de la firma coreana. Según las filtraciones, el Galaxy S7 en su versión normal tendrá un pantalla no curvilínea de 5,2 pulgadas. A su vez, el Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge incorporará un panel “flexible” de 5,7 pulgadas que gozará de una ligera curvatura en los lados. La gran diferencia estética del Galaxy S7 Edge respecto a su predecesor será que los bordes superiores e inferiores también estarán curvados.
Si este concepto es finalmente el elegido por Samsung para sus pantallas, será la prueba de fuego definitiva para la línea de paneles YOUM con sustrato de plástico flexible. Este tipo de tecnología también abrirá las puertas a nuevos tipos de interacción con la interfaz, como tener el dock de aplicaciones o los botones de navegación virtual en el extremos inferior curvado del panel. Ya han surgido algunos renders de cómo podría ser el concepto en la vida real y, sin duda, tienen muy buena pinta además de un gran potencial.
Además de toda esta información también han surgido otros rumores que apuntan a que el Galaxy S7 y su hermano de mayor tamaño y bordes curvados re-introducirán la ranura para tarjetas microSD,tal y como se había especulado. Fue un error no haberlo hecho en el Galaxy S6, por lo que añadir la posibilidad en el Galaxy S7 haría del terminal un dispositivo aún más interesante de lo que ya lo es.
