Samsung’s 18.4-inch Galaxy View tablet receives $100 price cut in US

The 18.4-inch Samsung Galaxy View tablet, which went on sale in the US earlier this month, has received a decent price cut in the country – the device is now selling for $499.99, down from its launch price of $599.99.

The tablet is available for purchase directly from Samsung, as well as third party retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. While the official listing shows both black and white color options as available, third party retailers are currently only selling the black variant.

Specs-wise, the device is powered by an Exynos 7580 chipset with 1.6 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU, and sports an 18.4-inch 1080p touchscreen. It comes with 2GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 2.1 MP front shooter, 5,700 mAh battery, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Vivo X6 Plus passes through TENAA

We already know that vivo is holding an event on November 30 (teaser shown below) at which the X6 smartphone – which has already cleared TENAA – will be unveiled. Now, just a week before the event, another vivo handset dubbed X6 Plus has been spotted listed on TENAA’s website.

While the TENAA listing reveals that the smartphone – which is already 3C certified in China – will come in two variants: the vivo X6Plus L and X6Plus D, it unfortunately does not include any specifications or images of these models.

Rumors say that the X6 Plus will be powered by a 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, and sport a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixel resolution) display. It is expected to come with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, pack in a 4,000mAh battery, and feature a 21MP rear and 12MP front camera. Needless to say, none of these has been officially confirmed, so take it with a heavy dose of salt.
