To follow up on the original 7-inch Ellipsis from 2013, Verizon has today unveiled a new own-brand tablet called Ellipsis 10.

As its name states, this is a 10-inch tablet, and it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It has 1,920×1,200 resolution, a 5 MP rear camera, a 2 MP front-facing unit, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, “angular firing stereo speakers”, 16GB of expandable storage, 4G LTE support (XLTE ready), and a huge 9,100 mAh battery.

You can already buy the Ellipsis 10 from Verizon for $199.99 with a new two-year contract or $299.99 all-in. Alternatively, you can choose the carrier’s installment plan, shelling out nothing upfront and then paying 24 monthly installments of $12.49. The tablet only seems to be available in black, as pictured…

Xiaomi announced it made top seller for the third year in a row with its handsets. It was also crowned top smartphone brand on Tmall, JD and Suning. Within the first 12 minutes of the sale, orders on Tmall surpassed CNY 100 million ($15.7 million, £10.3 million, or €14.5 million).
