ZTE Blade S7, presentado el nuevo smarthpone de gama media con acabados premium
El mercado de la telefonía está cambiando. Cada vez más fabricantes apuestan por ofrecer soluciones con acabados de calidad, independientemente de la gama a la que están enfocados. Y el ZTE Blade S7 es un claro ejemplo.
Y es que el fabricante asiático ha presentado de forma oficial su nuevo teléfono, un terminal que ofrece unas prestaciones de gama media y unos acabados de calidad gracias a su chasis metálico con acabado en cristal templado.
ZTE Blade S7, un gama media con aspecto de gama alta
Con unas dimensiones de 142 mm de largo, 67 mm de alto y 7,2 mm de grosor junto un peso de 131 gramos hacen del ZTE Blade S7 un dispositivo muy manejable y cómodo al agarre, un detalle a agradecer si tenemos en cuenta sus acabados metálicos.
En cuanto a las características técnicas del nuevo teléfono del fabricante asiático decir que el ZTE Blade S7 integra una pantalla formada por un panel IPS de 5 pulgadas que alcanza una resolución Full HD 1080p que, junto con sus 441 píxeles por pulgada ofrece una nitidez bastante buena. A esto hay que sumarle el cristal 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass situado tanto en la parte frontal como en la trasera del dispositivo muy al estilo Samsung Galaxy S6 / S6 Edge.
Su procesador no es ni más ni menos que un Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, estrella de la gama media en 2016 gracias a sus ocho núcleos cortex-A53 que alcanzan una velocidad de reloj de hasta 1.5 GHz junto con una potente GPU Adreno 405. A esto hay que sumarle los 3 GB de memoria RAM que integra el dispositivo además de 32 GB de almacenamiento interno ampliable a través de su ranura para tarjetas micro SD, situado en el marco lateral del teléfono. Uno de los detalles que más nos ha sorprendido es su cámara. Y es que tanto la cámara frontal como la trasera integran una lente de 13 megapíxeles con HDR y posibilidad de grabar vídeos en calidad Full HD a 30 fps.
Si bien es cierto que el ZTE Blade S7 es un teléfono de gama media cuenta con algunos detalles muy interesantes, como el hecho de que integre un lector de huellas dactilares situado en el marco inferior de su frontal. Los sensores biométricos están de moda y ZTE no iba a dejar pasar la oportunidad.
No falta la conectividad completa hasta LTE ni tampoco el WiFi, Bluetooth, aGPS ni el NFC, además de una batería de 2.500 mAh, más que suficiente para soportar todo el peso del hardware del ZTE Blade S7.

ARM Announces Cortex-A35 To Bolster Mobile Device Growth In Emerging Markets
Smartphone sales may have cooled somewhat in major markets like the US but emerging markets like China, the Middle East and Eastern Europe are massive growth areas. These are the markets ARM will be targeting with its forthcoming SoC (System On Chip) processor architecture the company has unveiled today. ARM’s new Cortex-A35 is a 64-bit low power variant of the ARMv8 architecture that’s slated to address the lower cost, high volume smartphone designs in emerging markets. The company’s architecture IP licensing model has long been a leader in smartphone processor designs with virtually all the major manufactures from Apple to Samsung, Motorola, LG and many others employing processors that make use of the technology. ARM’s current generation ARMv8 architecture can be found in chips like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon line, including the recently announced Snapdragon 820, as well as Apple’s A7, A8 and A9 series processors.

Blackberry Priv apps can now be sideloaded on other Android phones
If you are curious about the new Android-powered Blackberry experience, you can sideload some of the exclusive apps found on the Blackberry Priv.
You should definitely side-loading the keyboard APK since it is the easiest one to install and doesn’t require root. It works well on the Nexus 6P we tried, though users have reported that it may have issues working on Samsung TouchWiz devices.
Blackberry Services might be required for the launcher, calendar, and Blackberry Hub apps to work properly. It’s also worth noting that the Blackberry Hub requires root to install the APK in the /system/ partition.
