Los juegos nos emocionan, nos divieren y nos ayudan a pasar el tiempo cuando no tenemos nada que hacer o queremos desconectar. Sólo o con amigos puedes disfrutar de los últimos juegos en todo tipo de plataformas y lugares. Un gran ejemplo de esto es Android. Con cada día más juegos como es el ejemplo del mítico Tomb Rider II, Sonic Dash 2 o Downwell entre muchos otros títulos.
Sin duda, el mercado de juegos sigue creciendo y un claro ejemplo es el nuevo título de The Walking Dead para Android que, para los que no lo sepáis, The Walking Dead es una serie de televisión dramática y de terror estadounidense creada y producida por Frank Darabont y basada en el cómic homónimo de Robert Kirkman. La serie se sitúa en un mundo posapocalíptico y está protagonizada por Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), un oficial de policía que al despertar de un coma se encuentra con un mundo repleto de zombis salvajes (denominados caminantes). Al encontrar a su familia, se une a un grupo de supervivientes a los que llega a encabezar. La historia, ambientada principalmente en Georgia, Estados Unidos, narra las vivencias de dicho grupo, el cual se enfrenta tanto a la plaga que se ha esparcido como a otros grupos de humanos que también luchan por subsistir.
El nuevo juego No Man’s Land nos adentra en el contexto de la quinta temporada de la serie en el que el personaje principal es Daryl Dixon, el superviviente por excelencia que te enseñará a matar para lograr sobrevivir. Estos son algunos de los comentarios que dejan sobre el juego en Google Play:

The Walking Dead No Man’s Land es un juego estratégico en el que tendremos que gestionar nuestras decisiones a través de los niveles para ir sobreviviendo. Por otra parte, su aspecto de rol hacen de él un juego idóneo para todos aquellos seguidores de la serie americana.
Gestionando los campamentos y adiestrandoa compañeros supervimientes se podrá luchar en combátes tácticos por turnos en algunos escenarios como la cárcel.
Las características del juego que podemos encontrar en Google Play son las siguientes:
Con 200 MB de instalación inicial, no es un juego muy pesado en comparación con otros aunque necesitarás como mínimo Android 4.1 o superior para poder jugar. Por otra parte el juego incluye compras integradas (aunque es gratuito al descargar) que varían entre los 2,99 euros y los 99,99 euros.
Por tanto, si eres seguidor de The Walking Dead y has visto la última temporada este será sin duda un juego que te debería gustar.

Thanks to progress in its artificial intelligence research, Facebook is on track to make news feeds even more attuned to users’ tastes.
The social network said on Tuesday that it has created a system that teaches machines to identify objects and actions in a photo that is 30% faster and uses 10 times less training data than most other systems and industry benchmarks. Facebook’s system also has a new feature that allows people to ask the machine what is in a photo, which the company calls ‘VQA’ or visual Q&A.

The Orcs and Humans are about to come to life, or at least something closer to it. The first full trailer for the Warcraft movie is set to debut at Blizzcon later this week, but we’ve got a short, 15 second teaser trailer to tide us over until then. It’s not much: some humans, a gryphon, what looks like a nightsaber and some Orcs charging into battle, but it has a better rhythm to it than some of the leaked footage we had seen before. Meet the girls solving the world’s problems in CODEGIRL, a documentary released this week on YouTube, and available to view for free until this Thursday. The film follows teams of high school aged girls from Moldova to Brazil developing apps to address global needs – starting in their own backyard. The winning team gets $10,000 to complete their app and launch it, but as the film unfolds we see that for many of the girls, the payoff comes well before the winners are announced. Filmmaker Lesley Chilcott, who directed “An Inconvenient Truth” and “Waiting for Superman,” shadows the girls in the run-up to the Technovation Challenge. The international competition aims to encourage girls to enter the typically male-dominant field of coding.
