Now Galaxy S6 edge+ receiving its first software update

Less than a week after the Samsung Galaxy Note5 started receiving its first software update, the Galaxy S6 edge+ – which was made official alongside the former back in August this year – has also started getting its debut update.

Weighing in at 38.14 MB and carrying a build number of G928GDDU2AOJ5, the update brings call stability, battery optimizations, as well as improvements related to the security of the device. Also, you won’t be able to downgrade after the update.

If you compare, this looks like the same update that the Galaxy Note5 received last week. Anyway, the update is reportedly currently rolling out in Europe and India, with other regions likely to follow…

HTC One A9 price will go up in the US on November 7

Remember when the HTC One A9 was made official and HTC said that its $399.99 price as a “limited time offer”? Well now we know just how limited it is.

HTC says that the One A9’s price will go up to $499.99 at 12:01 am on November 7. That means that the company’s new Android phone will cost $100 more than it does right now.

The HTC One A9 isn’t the most high-end phone around, but at $399.99, it’s a solid unlocked option. It’s got a metal body, respectable features, and a promise from HTC that it’ll get Android OS updates within 15 days of Google pushing them to Nexus devices. At $499.99, though, the One A9 will face some new competition. The One A9 does still have some special features going for it, like Uh-Oh Protection and its smallish size, so HTC could focus on those features to push the A9.

What do you think of the HTC One A9? Will you be buying one before its price goes up on November 7?

Keep in mind that this is a VERY conservative industry that isn’t really known for progressive ideas about the workplace. However, not only is Enerplus driving innovation and inspiring other companies across the industry, it is also attracting top talent and can see revenue stability during a tough time in the industry. I sat down with Lisa Ower, Vice President of Human Resources, to learn the secrets to Enerplus’ success and to see how the principles can be applied to any business. Lisa and Enerplus are members of the Future of Work Community, a global brand council devoted to exploring the future of work, they have allowed me to share this information publicly.

The IRS now has the same kind of sophisticated surveillance technology used by FBI, DEA, ICE and other federal agencies. What are their plans?
