The explosion of video is a huge revenue opportunity for social networks, and Twitter doesn’t want to miss out.
The microblogging site on Thursday said it is launching a test version of a new advertising product that makes it easier for marketers to buy video ad spots and for publishers to profit from video content. The product works through an automated process: Content creators upload their videos to Twitter, and brands target categories of videos in which they want their pre-roll ads to run. Publishers are paid the majority of the ad revenue, and brands can choose to target specific types of users on Twitter, for example, based on users’ age or interests, Twitter said.

Tema picante del que trataremos hoy en el blog, pero antes de hablar y entrar en materia vamos a hacer una pequeña introducción sobre la evolución de los teléfonos móviles. Como bien sabréis, los smartphones han evolucionado a pasos gigantescos con el paso de los años. Si bien hace 10 años veíamos raro, a aquellas personas que tenían, los primeros teléfonos móviles con conexión a Internet, ahora lo raro es ver a una persona que tenga un móvil sin Internet.
Es cierto que la evolución de la telefonía móvil ha ido muy rápida, pero nos hemos acostumbrado a ella y no nos podemos desenganchar de este sector. El móvil es parte de nuestra vida y son muchos los que utilizan este tipo de dispositivo para realizar las tareas que antes se realizaban con un ordenador.
Dentro de estas tareas, podemos encontrar la de leer un diario, escuchar música, ver películas, comunicarnos vía mensajería instantánea, realizar vídeollamadas, navegar por Internet, leer el correo electrónico, y un largo etcétera. Pues bien, siguendo en esas tareas que día a día hacemos y, sin darnos cuenta, nos hemos encontrado que podemos ver porno en nuestros dispositivos Android e iOS de una manera sencilla, rápida y eficiente, dejando de lado los ordenadores.
Hoy en día nos encontramos con muchos estudios. Se realizan estudio para casi todo, algunos le sacan provecho y son interesantes y, otros sin embargo, son estudios que pasan desapercibidos. Del estudio que vamos hablar hoy no sabríamos como catalogarlo, aunque es curioso saber algunos datos sobre él que diferencian la competencia entre el sistema operativo de Google para móviles y el sistema operativo de Apple para sus dispositivos.
Páginas con contenido para adultos hay muchas por Internet, pero una de las más importantes es PornHub. Este portal de Internet es una de las páginas que más visitas tiene y no es de extrañar ya que, hay millones de vídeos que son ofrecidos de manera gratuita. Pues bien, como toda industria, se ha tenido que adaptar a los smartphones y ellos también han sufrido un cambio ya que, hay más gente que ve porno en dispositivos móviles que frente un ordenador.
Pues bien, según esta página web, el 31 % de las visitas a la web proceden de dispositivos de Apple mientras que el 32 % llegan de móviles Android, la resta del porcentaje está repartido entre otras plataformas. Lo curioso es que en el aspecto de las tablets, iOS gana con diferencia a las tabletas inteligentes con Android, estamos hablando de un 68 % para los iPad’s con respecto un 30 % para las tablets Android. Entre otros datos curiosos del informe de PornHub, vemos como los usuarios de iOS pasan menos tiempo mirando vídeos de contenido adulto. Otro dato curioso es ver como a los usuarios de Android les interesa más el genero del Porno Homosexual, mientras que los de iOS les interesa más el genero Milf.
Como podéis observar hay variedad de gustos entre ambas plataformas móviles ya sea por su diferente diseño, funcionalidades del sistema operativo o por los hobby’s de cada usuario, como el de ver porno en nuestros smartphones.

The Star Wars: Battlefront Beta is live on Xbox One, Ps4 and PC, and by now thousands of people have had the chance to enact their small part in the grand struggle of Alliance and Empire — perhaps larger if they’re not quite so terrible as I am. I have to be honest: I wasn’t particularly excited about this game. I was never a huge Battlefield fan, and I like my campaigns, generally speaking. That’s all changed now. I’ve gone from a passing interest in the first big Star Wars game of the new era to a blind craving for more, and that’s a very good sign.
