Las mejores aplicaciones de cámara para Android

Hoy en día uno de los aspectos más importantes de un dispositivo móvil es su cámara. La aplicación de cámara de muchos terminales no incluye una gran personalización de las opciones de esta y es necesario recurrir a otras aplicaciones para poder editarlas. Aquí te traemos un recopilatorio de las mejores aplicaciones de cámara para Android.

Google Camera

La aplicación oficial de Google está desarollada en Material Design y presenta bastantes funcionalidades.

Entre ellas el modo Photo Sphere que a partir de una serie de fotos las gira para crear una imagen en 360 grados y el efecto enfoque que nos permite diferenciar distintos planos existentes en una captura.
Otra de sus características es que se puede controlar de forma remota con un dispositivo Android Wear.

Camera Zoom FX

Es una de las aplicaciones de cámara mas famosas de Google Play. Cuenta con una interfaz sencilla que nos facilita el uso de la aplicación.

Una de sus características es la gran variedad de modos de disparo. Entre ellos: normal, disparo estable, con temporizar, activación por voz, modo ráfaga, collage y Time lapse.
Se pueden aplicar mas de 90 efectos sobre las fotos que queramos tomar o sobre las que tengamos ya en la galería.

Hay dos versiones: la versión gratuita y la versión premium. La versión gratuita incluye 15 filtros y la posibilidad de realizar Time Lapse. La versión premium incluye mas de 100 filtros, modo ráfaga y más características explicadas en el análisis que hicimos en su momento.

Retrica

Retrica es la aplicación reina de los selfies. Llegó a Android después de ser una de las aplicaciones más descargadas en iOS

La aplicación cuenta con mas de 100 filtros con los cuales podremos editar cualquier fotografía. Además de poder realizar collages.
Presenta una interfaz simple la cuál nos facilita el uso de la aplicación y hace que fotografiar sea rápido y sencillo.

La aplicación se encuentra en Play Store de forma gratuita pero con anuncios. Si queremos que estos anuncios no estén presentes habrá que realizar un pago de 2,45 euros que además de eliminar los anuncios conseguiremos 28 nuevos filtros.

VSCO Cam

Llegó a Android siendo otro éxito en iOS. La empresa VSCO realiza presets –ficheros que almacenan parámetros preestablecidos– para Adobe. Lightroom y Photoshop entre otras.

Una de las principales características es la función Collections que permite compartir imágenes que han sido publicadas por otros usuarios. Para ello debes hacer un doble tap en la publicación para guardarla en tu galería y una vez guardada, ir a galería para compartirla.
La aplicación es gratuita pero sólo incluye 3 de los 19 filtros. Puedes comprarlos uno a uno por 0,76 euros o comprarlos todos por 5,60 euros.

Esta aplicación está pensada para aprovechar la cámara sacada a partir de la API de Lollipop.

La aplicación es de pago (2,69 euros) y aunque por defecto la aplicación viene con todos los ajustes y parámetros en automático estos se pueden modificar manualmente como la velocidad de obturación, la distancia focal, la exposición, el ISO y otras características como etiquetar la posición gracias al GPS.

Snapseed

Snapseed ha sido durante gran tiempo una de las mejores aplicaciones de cámara del mercado. Después de la compra de la compañía por parte de Google, Snapseed se desinfló un poco en favor de sus competidores. Pero hoy en día con la nueva actualización la cosa ha mejorado.

La aplicación sigue siendo gratuita y presenta una interfaz basada en Material Design e incluye hasta 20 funcionalidades. 11 filtros y 9 herramientas. Entre ellas poder recortar y ajustar una foto o poder modificar algunos parámetros tales como la luz, la saturación o el brillo. A esto añadirle la posibilidad de quitar manchas que con la nueva actualización presenta la ayuda de un pincel útil para quitar esas imperfecciones en algunas imágenes.

ZUK Z1 makes its international debut tomorrow with Cyanogen OS

The Lenovo-backed ZUK Z1 is now finally ready to make its international debut, about a month and a half after its official unveiling in China.

The affordable smartphone is set to become available to order through eBay’s Spanish and French operations in just a few hours – at midnight in both Spain and France, to be exact.

As previously revealed, the international model will run Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It will also carry some Lenovo branding, at least on the box and in the user guide. This has presumably been done in order to take advantage of Lenovo’s superior brand recognition.

Otherwise however, the handset is the same one that’s been announced in August. It comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, an 8 MP selfie snapper, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chipset at the helm, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, 4G LTE support, dual-SIM functionality, a fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 4,100 mAh battery.

Sony Xperia Z5 has the best mobile camera ever tested by DxOMark

Just yesterday DxOMark added the Huawei Nexus 6P and its camera to its charts, and the new Google phone had some pretty impressive results. It climbed to the No.2 spot in the charts, behind only Samsung’s Galaxy S6 edge.

Today though we have a new king of the DxoMark tests when it comes to mobile cameras. And that is the Sony Xperia Z5. According to the experts at DxO Labs, this handset currently has the best mobile camera they’ve ever tested. With a general score of 87, it’s one point above the Galaxy S6 edge, thus snatching the coveted No.1 spot from Samsung’s device.

The Nexus 6P therefore drops to third place, while the LG G4 is now fourth. The last in the Top 5 is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. However, you’ve probably noticed that a big name is missing – DxOMark hasn’t yet tested either of the new iPhones, so things may change again when it does.

Until that point, Sony can savour this win. According to DxoMark, for photos the Z5 has the best autofocus performance tested to date, very good white balance and color rendering, a good flash with pleasant white balance, good detail preservation regardless of light conditions, and low noise in low-light situations. On the other hand, artifacts are visible with blue sky saturation, and an attenuation is sometimes visible in the corners when using the flash.

For videos, the camera reportedly has “impressive image stabilization that’s far ahead of the competition”, good autofocus, good detail preservation, low noise, and accurate color rendering along with decent white balance. On the flip side, tremors can be visible even when using a tripod, exposure convergence can be very slow, autofocus is slow in low-light, and color shading is present in low-light conditions too.

Foxit PDF Reader añade soporte para anotaciones y muchas novedades más

Foxit PDF Reader es una de las herramientas de lectura de documentos PDF más utilizadas en todo el mundo, aunque la verdad es que a GNU/Linux lo tenían bastante olvidado, a diferencia de lo que sucede en Windows y Mac OS X donde las actualizaciones son bastante frecuentes. Por suerte luego de casi 2 años sin novedades para nuestro sistema operativo, hace poco llegó una nueva versión de Foxit Reader para Linux.

Eso si, no por esto vamos a dejar de recordar que aún se está bastante detrás de las otras dos plataformas (por ejemplo, en GNU/Linux no tenemos la posibilidad de crear archivos PDF), pero algo es algo y estamos ante una aplicación que a pesar de ser propietaria es muy bienvenida ya siempre se agradece tener alternativas para todos los gustos, pero en este caso estamos ante una que que es ligera y cumple con lo básico, además de permitirnos la visualización de documentos de gran tamaño y no mostrar problema alguno de rendimiento.

Entre las novedades que llegan en esta actualización podemos mencionar una interfaz completamente modernizada, con algunas nuevas características como el soporte para anotaciones (que en esta aplicación se llaman comentarios), vistas de varios documentos a la vez, impresión de documentos junto con las anotaciones si así lo preferimos (también podemos imprimir solo las anotaciones o solo el documento), posibilidad de guardar ‘favoritos’.

La llegada del soporte para anotaciones es muy completa, y podemos seleccionar si queremos marcar el texto en color, subrayarlo con línea recta u ondulante o añadir nota a mano alzada con letra cursiva utilizando una herramienta de lápiz. Por otro lado, podemos visualizar la ubicación de los comentarios mediante íconos que al recibir un click expandirán lo que anotamos para que podamos visuzliarlo en forma completa.
