Big Changes Coming With Next PS4 System Update, Beta Starts Today

System update 3.00 for PS4 is on its way, and Sony is getting ready to test out a raft of new additions to the social features of its new console. The company detailed all the changes on the PS blog today, which range from an online storage capacity increase, to better group functions, to the ability to stream directly to either Youtube or Twitter. The PS4 has been a social machine since its inception — that’s why there’s a “share” button right there on the controller — and this update most definitely focuses on those aspects. Stephen Colbert Is Now Giving Driving Directions On Waze

Waze, the community-based GPS navigation app, has featured a number of celebrity voices since it launched. Some of the celebrity voices in the Waze app included Kevin Hart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Rob Gronkowski, Neil Patrick Harris and Colonel Sanders. Stephen Colbert, the host of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, is now lending his voice for driving directions on Waze until September 22nd. The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is set to debut on September 8th.

Confessions Of A New ‘Metal Gear Solid’ Player Attempting ‘The Phantom Pain’

Stop the presses. I, a video game journalist, do not have a longstanding relationship with Metal Gear Solid. The simple truth of the matter is that even if you manage to keep up with 90% of the biggest series in the industry over the course of your life, some are going to slip through the cracks. For me, one was Dark Souls, until I somewhat remedied that by sinking 80+ hours in Bloodborne, another was The Witcher, fixed when I put 120+ hours into Wild Hunt, and yet another is Metal Gear Solid, which I am trying to rectify now.
