Sony is now rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to another of its devices, but this time it’s not a member of the Xperia Z line of current and former flagships.
Today the newest version of Google’s mobile operating system is hitting the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Dual, which is the dual-SIM version of the Xperia T2 Ultra from last year.
There’s no word yet on when the same software release should reach the single-SIM iteration of the same model, but it’s clearly due to happen soon.
In the meantime, if you own the T2 Ultra Dual, expect to see an update notification popping up any day now. After you’ve gone through the necessary steps and installed the new bits, you’ll be on build number 19.4.A.0.182.
Android 5.1 is mainly a bug-fixing release, and with this rollout Sony is thankfully also patching the much-discussed Stagefright vulnerability, so it won’t affect the Xperia T2 Ultra Dual after the update is up and…

Google health conditions search is a nifty feature that pops up relevant information when you search for various health conditions. Instead of having to look through sites, Google has gathered this info and shows a card for easy access to the info you need. And now the feature has gotten even better.
Google has updated this search with support for more diseases, totaling over 900 conditions and their symptoms, treatments, and more. The company has also refined the search so adding “symptoms” to the search will take you to the symptoms tab of the card. And lastly, a “Download PDF” option has been added so you can take this info to your doctor.
While Googling health conditions and self diagnosing isn’t always a good idea, staying informed is. So the new improvements can really help those who feel ill, or those in the middle of a disease outbreak.

Samsung’s already announced the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic smartwatches on Monday, but today the company held a special event at IFA in Berlin just for them. The new wearables are clearly the most attractive ones the Korean company has ever produced, and they’re also its first to sport a round touchscreen.
If you like what you’ve seen so far about the Gear S2 and S2 Classic (perhaps by having taken a look at our hands-on report), then you might be wondering how much they will cost.
The answer is that neither will be cheap. The company seems to think that their new features (such as the rotating bezel) along with its Tizen-based watch UI are worth quite a sum.
In Europe it’s expected that the Gear S2 will be priced at 349, while the Gear S2 Classic will go for 399. These pricing levels have only been confirmed for Finland thus far, but we see no reason for them to differ in other Eurozone countries.
As for the US, given what usually goes on in the mobile world when it comes to converting prices from one currency to another, we expect to see the Gear S2 selling for $349, with the Gear S2 Classic having the asking price of $399. Obviously the 3G-capable version of the S2 should be more expensive than either of these, but just how much more so isn’t known yet.
The Gear S2 and S2 Classic are supposed to become available worldwide sometime in October.

It looks like Micromax-backed Indian smartphone brand YU is now ready to launch its next device. It’s still unclear what it will call the handset that will be next in line following the Yureka, Yureka Plus, and Yuphoria.
But what is clear is that the company has scheduled an event for September 8, and it’s now sending out press invites for it.
On that occasion, we’re told we’ll see the future meeting the past, in order for “the next wonder” to be unveiled. Could this hint that the device in question will be named Wonder? Maybe, maybe not.
Anyway, no other details are apparent from the invite itself and we haven’t seen any recent leaks of YU smartphones, so this one is still very much a mystery. What we do know is that the new product will be offered via Snapdeal, probably through an exclusive-type…
