Cómo acceder al menú oculto de Android

Hoy, en este nuevo post y con ayuda del vídeo adjunto que os mostramos en la propia cabecera de este artículo, justo encima de estas lineas, os queremos enseñar como acceder al menú oculto de Android y las funciones que, en este menú especialmente pensado para la gente que entiende de Android, o sea los propios desarrolladores vamos a poder encontrar información interesante a cerca de nuestra conectividad Wifi y de telefonía móvil, así como información relevante sobre el estado real de la batería de nuestro terminal Android o las aplicaciones que más usamos.

No cabe que decir que si entras a este menú oculto de Android, es recomendable no tocar nada de lo que no se sepa su conocimiento ya que las consecuencias pueden ser desastrosas para nuestro terminal Android, tanto como el perder la conectividad Wifi o de telefonía móvil. Así que ya sabes, ¡¡No toques nada que no entiendas!! y si lo haces tan solo tu serás el responsable de la acción, así que, mejor te acuerdes los parámetros originales de estas configuraciones ocultas entes de proceder a cambiar nada.

Cómo os digo en el vídeo adjunto a este post, el que podéis encontrar en la cabecera del mismo, el acceso a este menú oculto de Android se consigue con tan solo abrir nuestro teclado telefónico, el mismo que utilizamos para hacer una llamada de voz, y clicar el siguiente código:

  • *#*#4636#*#*

Una vez tecleado el último asterisco se nos abrirá el menú de pruebas Android desde el que vamos a tener acceso a información y configuraciones ocultas pensadas para las pruebas y buen funcionamiento de nuestro Android. Un menú oculto dividido en estas categorías:

  1. Información sobre el teléfono: Aquí vamos a encontrar información y configuración relevante sobre nuestra conectividad telefónica y acceso a redes móviles.
  2. Información sobre la batería: Todo lo referente al estado real de la batería de nuestro terminal Android
  3. Estadísticas de uso: Estadísticas de uso de todas las aplicaciones Android usadas por última vez y su tiempo de ejecución.
  4. Wifi información: Todo lo referente a la información y configuración de la conectividad Wifi de nuestro Android.

IFA 2015 smartwatch comparison

As expected, wearables were a strong presence at IFA. We’ve gathered the highlights (even if some of them were unveiled earlier or not quite a IFA) and distilled their specifications into tabular form for easy comparison.

The Motorola Moto 360 was one of the most hotly anticipated smartwatches and while it still uses a “flat-tire” display, Motorola improved a number of features, including adding a second size option. That’s quite popular – all but the Huawei Watch and Samsung Gear S2 come in two sizes. The Huawei Watch itself was one of the more desirable watches… months ago when it was first announced, Huawei really dragged its feet with this one and the fire somewhat died down.

Samsung has been dropping hints about a round smartwatch with a rotating bezel and it’s one of the most attractive smartwatches to date. We only wish it had a bigger version, going from a 2″ screen on the Gear S to a 1.2″ screen on the Gear S2 is quite a hit. Then there’s the Asus ZenWatch 2, which is the only new watch from IFA with a rectangular screen. It packs a lot of bang for the buck though.

Anyway, here’s the table. We’ve highlighted above average features in green and below average features in red.

OnePlus 2 battery life test

OnePlus 2, flagship killer or not, turned out one very interesting high-end smartphone with massive interest online. OnePlus indeed succeeded into hyping the fans and it seems the company delivered for the most part.

Whether the choice of Snapdragon 810 was the right one, or not, is a question with no simple answer. The performance is more than adequate and overheating issues are not possible, as the chip has been tweaked. But what about the battery life then? Let’s find out.

The day we published our review our OnePlus 2 received an OTA update, which improved on the stability and hopefully the battery performance. We updated our unit and did the tests again. The OnePlus 2 outed similar results on the media, web and call tests, but performance a notch better when left on standby.

First things first though. The OnePlus 2 is an A student when it comes to 3G talks. The phone lasted north of 30 hours, when hooked on a 3G call, which is nothing short of impressive.
