There are probably cars whizzing by on the street outside my window, kids screaming at the daycare facility across the street, and yelps coming from dogs around the neighborhood. What never changes is that the PC industry is in an ever changing state of change. (Say that three times fast). Over the last few years, the PC’s biggest competitors have been tablets but now I believe it is itself. This has resulted in declining margins on hardware and results in an environment where service, support, and accessories are where most of the profits reside. As a public company, Dell can basically do whatever they want, shifting quarter to quarter if it pleases them. This is one of the many benefits of being a private company and they can do things that nobody else is doing and take risks that nobody else would take.

The Taken King doesn’t come out for another week, but, in many ways year two of Destiny starts today. At Around 10-12 AM PST, Bungie is dropping patch 2.00 for all players, overhauling many of the game’s major systems and laying the groundwork for next week’s expansion content. There are a whole lot of changes going on, making this one doozy of a patch at 18gb on PS4 or Xbox One.
