Blame it on the Old Spice guy. Last year, EA sports decided to do something a little more extreme with its commercials for Madden 2015 by producing a sprawling, bizarre ode to “Madden Season” starring Dave Franco and Kevin Hart. For Madden 16 this year, they have gone much, much further. The new version is basically an absurdist action movie in five minutes, featuring Chirstopher Mintz-Plasse, Dave Franco, Rob Gronkowski, Julio Jones, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex. We are now fast approaching the official unveiling for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Apple has held such events at the beginning of September for the past few years, and that month is almost upon us.
Thus, more and more leaks nowadays focus on when you’ll be able to buy the two new devices. Today we get a leaked image purported to have originated at a carrier in France.
This company is allegedly informing its employees that pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are due to start on September 11. That’s a Friday, which also fits with Apple’s actions in the past. If the company sticks to its traditional schedules, we should see the announcement that Tuesday or Wednesday, on September 8 or 9.
On the other hand, actual availability of the new smartphones in the countries that will be part of the first wave could happen on September 18, again based on what Apple’s previously done with such launches.
These dates have also been rumored quite a bit in the past few weeks, so at this point we assume the only thing left to happen is for Apple to send the media invites for its event.
The new iPhones have been said to come with 12 MP cameras, a new A9 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and touchscreens with support for “Force Touch”. Otherwise, they should be pretty much identical to their predecessors from last year.

El desarrollo de Wine sigue como siempre y hace poco hemos podido conocer una versión nueva, Wine 1.7.50, una versión que continua orientándose hacia el mundo de los videojuegos. Así esta nueva versión de Wine incluye ya soporte a Direct3D 11, uno de los mayores obstáculos que existen a la hora de hacer correr videojuegos de Windows.
Además Wine 1.7.50 cuenta con un motor Gecko fuera de Mozilla Firefox 40, soporte para OpenMP para plataformas ARM, una mejor adecuación de la fuente de DirectWrite y la corrección de hasta 39 bugs conocidos.
Sin embargo es Direct3D 11 lo que más atención está provocando en esta actualización aunque hay que decir que el funcionamiento aún no es total sino que existen problemas, lo que no significa que nos asegure que ese juego que tenemos de Windows no vaya a funcionar con Wine 1.7.50, ahora bien es un gran paso y su desarrollo seguirá adelante por lo que las nuevas versiones seguirán corrigiendo fallos y mejorando el soporte.
Y para aquellos que no se fían de estas versiones, siempre tenemos Wine Staging que es un Wine supervitaminado con bastantes mejoras que siempre hará que funcione algún programa con el que tenemos problemas, aunque esta nueva versión con Direct3D 11 es bastante interesante y puede que al final tengamos ciertas duda a la hora de elegir.
La instalación de esta versión como de las anteriores es bastante sencilla ya que Wine se encuentra en los repositorios oficiales de las principales distribuciones Gnu/Linux como en Debian, Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Arch Linux, Fedora u OpenSUSE, sin embargo si no tenéis muy claro si vuestra distribución lo tiene o no lo tiene, lo mejor es que os paséis por la web oficial y os informéis, allí tendréis toda la información necesaria.
