If just a fraction of the caloric energy we burn every day could be siphoned, our bodies could in theory be used to run any number of electronic devices, from medical implants to electronic contact lenses — all without a battery in sight.

Cortana On Android Is Another Nail In The Windows Phone Coffin

No matter how the application got out there, it is out there. Microsoft’s digital personal assistant, Cortana, runs on Android. Currently in beta, is expected release later in the year. It’s one more step away from the previous strategy of ‘Microsoft’s platform is all that counts’ and the continuing embrace of platforms outside of Redmond.
