El Galaxy S6 es más Samsung que nunca en su interior

Probablemente sobre lo nuevo de Samsung, el Samsung Galaxy S6, ya hayamos contado prácticamente todo. De hecho, el terminal de la coreana ya se encuentra en el mercado, y estos días ha sido noticia por el hecho de que las unidades de su edición más deluxe no parecen estar cubriendo la demanda en el mercado, y es por eso que te contábamos que muchas tiendas están solicitando a Samsung que aumente la producción del Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, ya que el stock que existe no es suficiente y hay largas listas de espera.

Sin embargo, lo que quiero contarte hoy no puede decirse que sea una noticia en sí misma, ya que Samsung sabía de esto al fabricar el Galaxy S6, incluso mucho antes de presentarlo al mercado. Sin embargo, la información llega a los consumidores muchos meses después, y es justamente hoy cuando nos enteramos de que el último de la gama de la coreana es más Samsung que ninguno. ¿Por qué digo esto? ¿Acaso el resto de terminales no eran Samsung? Sí, si que lo eran. Sin embargo, en el Galaxy S6 hay muchos más componentes propios de la compañía que en otros de la misma marca. Eso refuerza el propósito de la coreana de no solo crecer en el mundo móvil, sino también hacerlo en el de las piezas que conforman los smartphones.

En realidad, la razón de que Samsung haya colocado tantos componentes propios dentro del Samsung Galaxy S6, no es solamente la conveniencia que puede tener en cuanto al precio, que evidentemente controla mejor como productor del que tendría que pagarle a otro que lo produzca para él, sino también debido a otros dos motivos. El primero de ellos tienes que ver con el control de la calidad de los componentes que la compañía tiene sobre los que ella misma crea. El segundo, que la coreana lleva un tiempo ya posicionándose en esta otra vertiente, y no hay mejor promoción que la de colocar sus propios productos en un terminal de gama alta y de la fama del Galaxy S6 para intentar potenciar las ventas de los elementos que se encuentran en su interior.

Ciertamente, aunque el Samsung Galaxy S6 es más Samsung que nunca, cabe recordar que todavía está muy vigente la pataleta que la coreana hizo frente al último chip que pensaba incorporar a su gama, y que cabreo bastante en el mundo smartphone. Aún así, pese a numerosos desmentidos, sobre todo por parte de LG, el chip de la competencia sí que presenta problemas de recalentamiento a los que hemos hecho mención en los nuevos terminales Sony. Y puede que entre ellos, y un Galaxy S6 muy Samsung, la coreana termine por fin de expandir su mercado de componentes.

Sprint to begin shipping Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on April 6

Samsung’s latest devices, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, are already up for pre-order from US carrier Sprint, and now the latter has announced that it will start shipping the handsets on April 6.

"Samsung GS6 starts shipping Monday! Pre-order now to be among the first to get yours," the carrier said in a tweet. It's worth mentioning that both the handsets are set to officially release on April 10.

OxygenOS, la ROM oficial para el OnePlus One ya está disponible

Después de varios retrasos y una larga espera, por fin podemos decir que OxygenOS, la ROM propia de OnePlus basada en Android 5.0 Lollipop ya está disponible para su público y desde este instante pueden proceder a flashear y disfrutar de ella.

En teoría, la ROM debería haber estado lista para finales de marzo pero los propios para asegurar la mejor experiencia posible, han decidido seguir puliendo el sistema y retrasarlo hasta hoy, día 4 de abril, algo que aún tiene margen de espera, pues son apenas unos días.

OxygenOS

Instalación de la ROM OxygenOS

Paso #1: Descarga OxygenOS, Feedback App y TWRP

Paso #2: Arranca el terminal en modo fastboot, manteniendo pulsado el botón de encendido y volumen arriba, cuando veas el logotipo del fastboot conecta el terminal al ordenador.

Paso #3: En la ventana de terminal, busca la carpeta donde se coloca la imagen de recovery y ejecuta los siguientes comandos:

fastboot oem unlock – fastboot flash recovery – fastboot reboot

Paso #4: Una vez teniendo TWRP instalado, procedemos a copiar la ROM en el terminal para así proceder a su instalación.

Paso #5: Arranca en modo recovery manteniendo volumen abajo y botón de encendido hasta que entre en la interfaz de TWRP, después procede a realizar un wipe y la copia de seguridad si así lo deseas.

Paso #6: Una vez esté limpio el terminal, procedemos a su instalación buscando oxygenos_1.0.0.flashable.zip y confirmamos, iniciará el proceso y esperamos hasta que este termine.

Paso #7 Si todo ha salido correctamente, una vez terminado pulsas reboot system y debería reiniciar sin ningún problema, haciendo las configuraciones iniciales y después, ¡a disfrutar de OxygenOS!

Como no podía ser de otra forma, al ser una primera versión viene con ciertos problemas, pues entre ellos se encuentran que el servicio de impresión puede dejar de funcionar, no poder colgar una llamada con los auriculares, OTG sólo reconoce sistemas FAT32, la pantalla de notificación durante actualización del sistema puede ser incorrecta, la versión podría no aparecer correctamente, carga fallidas de archivos en la nube, bloquearse archivos realizando cambios de nombre y múltiples eliminaciones no permitidas.

Cabe decir que no es nada grave, pero para algunos es lógico que quieran esperar alguna que otra semana más para que esta actualice alguna versión más y esté algo más pulida, totalmente respetable, esto ya es decisión personal de cada uno.

The Huawei P8 might come with an upgraded processor

The Huawei P8 has been a constant presence in the rumor mill for a few months now. The Chinese manufacturer has generated a lot of hype around the eagerly-anticipated smartphone and hints and speculations have been plentiful.

We are already quite familiar with the dimensions of the device, its upcoming release and alleged price tag and we have even seen some renders, portraying the beautiful craftsmanship of the handset, so, we were fairly certain we knew what to expect on April 15, when the Huawei P8 will be officially unveiled.

A brand new rumor, however, states that the device will not be built around the Kirin 930 SoC, as we previously thought, but will rather sport a brand new Kirin 935. We are already familiar with the Kirin 930 chip – it is based on modified Coretex-A53 cores, dubbed A53E in a big.LITTLE setup and is fund in the Huawei MediaPad X2. Information about the Kirin 935, however, is still scarce. Judging by the model, it should be an upgraded version of its predecessor, so it will probably spout the same processor cores, with a beefed-up GPU.

As far as we know, other specs on the Huawei P8 include a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard memory and a 2600 mAh battery, all housed in a body, measuring 144.9 x 71.9 x 6.6mm. The main camera should be a 13MP model, perhaps utilizing the Sony IMX278 sensor, but nothing is certain yet. There have even been talks of a fingerprint scanner, but we will just have to wait and see for that.

The Huawei P8 is expected to arrive in two versions, which rumors indicate might be called the standard and platinum edition. The former will reportedly carry a sub $500 price tag, while the latter will be priced around $800. We also heard of a cheaper dual-SIM P8 Lite model in the works, which could be affected by the chipset upgrade as well.

Slayin, un RPG infinito para probar tus habilidades con la espada

El estilo retro es uno de los patrones de diseño que más solemos ver en multitud de videojuegos que tenemos en Android. Un aire a retro, si se sabe diseñar lo suficientemente bien, le da un toque especial a un plataformas, un RPG o mismamente a un juego de estrategia. Tenemos una gran variedad de excelentes títulos en el gaming en Android que llevan este estilo pixelado como santo y seña, tal como le sucede al mismo que tenemos hoy entre manos como es Slayin.

Slayin nos pone en la piel de un caballero con su espada, escudo y armadura ante la tesitura de matar a miles de enemigos. Nada especial, salvo por lo que es estar siempre en la misma pantalla mientras van surgiendo los distintos tipos de monstruos para que con nuestro sabio manejo del control del personaje y el salto podamos ir matándolos uno a uno. Y, Slayin no tiene ninguna escena final donde la princesa rubia venga a nuestros brazos, para nada, es un endless RPG.

Un Endless RPG que os enganchará

Ya sea por sus bien trabajados gráficos retro o su jugabilidad, en unos cuantos segundos consigue que nos entren ganas por volver a jugar para conseguir mejor armamento, oro y armas para así casi subir de nivel al infinito.

Slayin

Al principio podremos elegir la clase con la que nos iremos enfrentando a los miles de enemigos. Un caballero, un mago o un ladrón son las 3 opciones que tenemos para is saltando entre los distintos monstruos e ir asestándoles con nuestra espada con el guerrro, o en el caso de un gran hechizo mágico con el mago. Al ser 3 clases cada una tiene su especial forma de jugar, por lo que la diversión se multiplica por 3. El caballero utiliza su espada y los saltos para ir rompiendo los cuerpos de los monstruos, mientras que el mago no puede saltar y apenas puntos defensivos, pero si que tiene un gran potencial de daño. Por otro lado tenemos al ladrón que tiene tanto un arma por un lado como por el otro quedándose en una defensa mínima.

Mejorando nuestro personaje

Al estilo de este tipo de RPGs, uno de los objetivos principales es ir mejorando nuestro equipamiento y armas, para eso encontraremos tiendas en las que comprarlo. Por otro lado tenemos puntos especiales (que pueden ser obtenidos también con compras dentro de la app) que permiten acceder a otro tipo de accesorios tales como puede ser otra banda sonora o cierto artilugio.

Slayin

Esto entra perfectamente en el llamado modelo freemium pero aquí podréis ir avanzando sin demasiadas preocupaciones al principio del juego. En definitiva, que iréis destrozando los jefes de nivel para ir cambiando de escenario y así profundizar en lo que Slayin tiene para demostraros que saben hacer las cosas bien técnicamente. Week 14 in review: One M9 Plus, Xperia Z4 and LG G4

Another week passed and it's time to sum-up the most important stories of the past few days. Xiaomi has had its share of the spotlight, most notably with the 64GB Mi 4 going on sale in India. Another ultra-budget device – the Xiaomi Redmi 2A also made an appearance with a more-than-impressive price tag of $97.

Other than that, the mobile world naturally has its sights set on various rumored and upcoming device. HTC announced the One M8s – a watered-down version of the previous flagship. And the rumor mill has been overflowing with specs and images of a couple of new, bigger devices – the One E9 Plus and One M9 Plus.

The long-overdue Sony Xperia Z4 is still on everybody's minds. The eagerly-awaited flagship has already made an appearance in benchmark results, as well as the FCC. The LG G4 is in pretty much the same boat, only it has an official launch date set for April 28.

In other news, the news Samsung Galaxy S6 has been enduring some serious torture tests, while Apple is said to use force touch in the iPhone 6s Plus.
