Android 6.0-based CyanogenMod 13 nightlies now available for Galaxy Note II and Note 10.1

Alternative Android OS developer Cyanogen has released the CyanogenMod 13 nightlies for the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Galaxy Note 10.1. The builds brings Android 6.0 Marshmallow to these four-year-old devices.

An important thing worth mentioning here is that the CM-13 builds are only available for the Verizon version of the Galaxy Note 10.1, and the GSM-LTE, Sprint, as well as Verizon variants of the Galaxy Note II.

While most of you might already know, it’s still worth stressing that nightlies aren’t usually stable – you may encounter bugs. Also, installing them can not only…

Sadly, nothing else was revealed by this new listing, except of course the price tag. However, as you might already know, the pricing information revealed by Zauba listings aren’t usually correct, although it may give a broader idea about the segment in which the device in question falls.

Weekly poll results: HTC 10 might be just what the doctor ordered

HTC desperately needs its new flagship to work if it’s to overcome its financial difficulties and according to your feedback the 10 might be just what the doctor ordered. After the review went live 68% of you said they’d be willing to get the HTC 10, which bodes well for its market prospects.

The approval rating has dropped a bit since the announcement – back when it launched 84% of you said that the HTC 10 is a hot piece of hardware. Still a two-out-of-three approval rating is excellent and certainly better than what most other flagships get in these polls.

Hopefully, HTC will…

Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) can now be purchased from AT&T too

Yesterday Verizon started selling the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016). And today Big Red’s largest competitor has done the exact same thing, right on the schedule it announced back in April.

The phone manages to be $1.99 more expensive if bought from AT&T than if you’d grab one from Verizon, when comparing its full retail price at both carriers. That’s $169.99 if you choose AT&T, and $168 at Big Red. However, Verizon is offering it with a prepaid plan for just $109.99, while AT&T is giving you the device installment plan option to use alongside a service agreement.

If you go this route,…
