Google’s Gboard keyboard marries typing and searching

Google just released a new keyboard for iOS. Sorry, not keyboard, but Gboard! The name comes from the deep integration with Google Search – the keyboard lets you google info, GIFs, emojis and more without leaving iMessage (or any other app that needs a keyboard).

It’s an interesting way around the limited multitasking on phones – you don’t need to leave the current app to look up information, saving you a couple of app switches.

Instead, you hit the Google icon and search… anything! Google’s extensive search results can find restaurant info, flight times, news articles,…

According to the latest report by Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his predictions on the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the company’s 5.5″ flagship is likely to feature a dual-camera setup. Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo believed Apple would only equip the top-of-the-line iPhone 7 Plus with dual cameras. However, because of the positive customer reaction towards the LG G5 and Huawei P9 for their camera setup, Apple has changed its mind.

A massive 18.4″ Lenovo tablet with QHD screen found in benchmark

Recently we’ve seen a few Android-powered tablets that are the size of an all-in-one PC. Lenovo seems to be working on one such tablet – the PB2-690N.

That’s clearly not the final name, but the “PB1″ is the 6.8″ Phab Plus. This could be the sequel, but it’s a monster movie.

According to GFX Bench, the new tablet will have an 18.4″ screen with 2,560 x 1,440px resolution. That’s better than Samsung’s 18.4″ Galaxy View (1080p) and Alcatel’s 17.3” Xess (1080p screen also).

The new Lenovo will be powered by the Snapdragon 652 chipset – evidenced by its octa-core design, which includes…

It seems that the Asus Zenfone 3 launch will happen a bit later than expected – company CEO Jerry Shen says the new generation will be unveiled in June.

They will target the mid-range market, but the average selling price will go up compared to previous generations. Asus expects the Zenfone 3 Max to make up two-thirds of total shipments, the base Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe will make up the other third.

The CEO noted an important shift in chipsets – 90% of Zenfone 3s will be powered by a Qualcomm chipset and 10% by MediaTek. Asus was one of the few that used Intel chipsets, but the…
