HTC 10 landing in India this week

HTC’s newest flagship smartphone, the 10, will be officially launched in India this week – May 26 to be precise. The Taiwanese company has started sending out media invites for the launch event.

If you recall, after the device was officially unveiled by HTC early last month, there were reports that some regions – including India – will get a downgraded variant (dubbed HTC 10 Lifestyle) instead of the proper HTC 10.

However, HTC soon cleared the air, confirming that the global flagship HTC 10 – which is powered by Snapdragon 820 – will be launched in India. There’s still no…

Reports say AT&T likely to increase its GoPhone data allotments

GoPhone is AT&T’s direct pre-paid service brand offering AT&T’s 4G LTE service and it looks like GoPhone customers will soon be getting more bang for buck. The prepaid service market continues to become increasingly competitive over in the States and AT&T would rather you switch to prepaid than switch to another carrier.

According to a report, AT&T will be increasing the $45 plan from 2GB to 3GB of data per month while the $60 plan will increase to 6GB up from 5GB. There is no implied price increase with these new data amounts. Customers will also still be able to receive the $5 monthly…

Last week we found out that Xiaomi plans on launching its first ever drone this Wednesday, on May 25. Back then the Chinese company only outed the official invite for the grand unveiling, but today it’s taking things up a notch with the first teaser video for the drone.

It all looks pretty standard for a drone in this day and age, with four rotors and a spherical camera that moves whichever way you want it to.

The Xiaomi drone has been rumored to sport 4K video recording capabilities (at 30fps), and gesture-based controls (as well as a dedicated app for controlling it). It might…

Galaxy S7 active has full specs leaked, may launch on June 10

In a similar fashion to what happened last year with the Galaxy S6 active, the Samsung Galaxy S7 active will be exclusive to AT&T. The upcoming highly ruggedised version of Samsung’s flagship smartphone has been featured in quite a few leaks so far, and today’s brings us its full list of specs.

The device will be bulkier than the vanilla S7, as you may expect by simply looking at it. That obviously has to do with making it more rugged, but it’s also clearly related to its battery capacity. See, while the S6 active shocked last year with a 3,500 mAh cell, its successor will take things even…
