En el mundo de los televisores inteligentes con Android TV empieza a ocurrir algo parecido a lo que pasa en el de los smartphones: compartir sistema operativo hace que sea complicado diferenciarlos entre sí. Es por ello que hay fabricantes que empiezan a firmar alianzas con distintos servicios externos para dar un extra necesario que granjee compras. Y ese extra parece ser el de los canales de televisión gratuitos.
No nos referimos a los de la TDT, accesibles para todos, sino a los canales gratuitos a través del streaming. Pluto TV, por ejemplo, ya se integra con algunos fabricantes y está llegando en Estados Unidos junto al Chromecast de Google, y ahora Xiaomi está preparando su propio servicio de televisión gratuita por streaming. Se llamará Mi TV+ y llegará el próximo año, en 2022.
