Contexto. Snapdragon Summit de 2021 celebrándose en Hawaii. Qualcomm desvelando sus mejores armas para el inicio de la próxima temporada entre las que se encuentran, cómo no, el procesador que pretende liderar el mercado Android en los próximos 12 meses. El Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, con nueva arquitectura, un montón de potencia y novedades del calibre de su Snapdragon Sight para fotografía.
Pero además de esto, Qualcomm ha querido asomarse al mercado de las consolas portátiles y para ello ha creado un nuevo chip. Se trata del Snapdragon G3x Gen 1, que recibe el apellido de ‘Gaming Platform’ y que pretende ser el primero de muchos chips destinados a exprimir los juegos en plataformas portátiles. Y como broche, llega con una consola de pruebas, la Snapdragon G3x Handheld Developer kit, para desarrolladores.
