Hi, I'm a 20 year old dude and I've been playing Minecraft since Indev. I mostly play for the farming/base-building and building CPUs with Redstone. I have countless Survival runs, but I have only gone so far, the last of those runs was in 1.0.0, almost 6 years ago.

Recently I've started a survival run with a friend. We spawned in a village, and holy shit dude. The "hurr" noises the villagers make. Even that is pretty fucking creepy. They look ugly, they disgust me and I can't really go near them. And they're not even hostile!

The "new" mobs (witches, mini zombies) scare me shitless. I have never even killed a single Enderman because I'm too fucking scared to spawn one even in Creative mode. Even relatively harmless shit like slimes scare me. Their presence, their sounds… just blergh.

How do I overcome this fear and hold my shit together in Survival?
