why is this feature still in the game
i recently started playing minecraft again after a year long break and i found pumpkins in my world and decided jack o lanterns would be a better looking light source to torches so i made some but i when i tried to put them in my ceiling i discovered that they still have to have a block under them to be placed, so i tested fence gates and the same happened. why is this a feature when you can place melons on air and fences on air.

I made carpets to look like corresponding Llama Saddles!
Here is the album. They are connected textures too!
Here is the link for the resource pack.
You will need OptiFine for the pack to work.
Some of them were really straight forward to make but some of them had weird textures so I needed to improvise! (Mainly purple, magenta and green) My favorite is the cyan one 🙂 Feedback appreciated!
