Now that we can fly easily, Is it time for a sky dimension?
A long time ago we were hinted there might be a sky dimension in the works, I'm sure those plans are long gone now but with the recent firework rockets + elytra addition, the games life could be extended with a new endgame dimension. Floating islands and the like would be perfect for wings and rockets, maybe even a boss who would be found in the clouds.
I'm sure the idea would get your imagination going but what i find interesting is how well setup the games tech tree and progression is for new endgame challenges. 🙂

Minecraft Bi-Weekly Build Challenge #9: Apocalypse
Note I'm starting this week's challenge just a little early cause as you all know, tomorrow is Christmas!! (It may already be for some) so instead of possibly delaying the start of the challenge I thought I'd pots tonight that way we'd have the challenge started! Merry Christmas to all!!
A simple yet effective build. The mountain tops are gorgeous to look at, the buildings are all well made and the interior have elves working on the presents. Good build!
Absolutely stunning landscape! This is a winter wonderland! However, the only drawback to this build is the interior wasn't too exciting and that's why we see it down in second. However great build to get you in the christmas spirit!
A great simple build for a workshop. At first, I was confused, seeing everything scaled up but it looked fantastic. Small critique would be that the dark lines in the floor and wall stood out way too much then they should have and my eyes were kinda always drawn to those. So, if you would tone down that boldness in the future, unless it's something you want to attract attention to, I would cut those lines down a bit.
Honourable Mention(s)
With 2016 coming to a close, everyone is expecting the worse. I mean, like what a year! So, in honour of 2016, as our final farewell, we'll be depicting the apocalypse! So get your meteors out and get ready for some destruction!
Inspiration
Easy mode Make a apocalyptic wasteland. The wasteland must be uninhabitable but traces of civilization may be left behind.
Hard mode In our history we are creating, the world was doing fine until one day, a great big meteor struck, knocking out most of civilization. Then, a tiny group of humans regrouped until a second, now a smaller meteor hit them and wiped them out, the last of the humans. For this challenge, build the world right before the second meteor, with a shot of the meteor falling down.
Title of submission
Easy or hard mode
Link to submission photos or video (preferably youtube or Imgur)

Only one human has stood on the summit of the world’s highest peak, 29,035-foot Mt. Everest, and flown in space: Dr. Scott Parazynski. If that’s not enough, he also served as personal physician to the late John Glenn aboard Shuttle Discovery on the senator’s return to space in 1998. Humble and […]
