With the ability to now “infinitely” fly with the Elytra, what are your thoughts on a possible Sky Expansion? (x-post from r/minecraftsuggestions)

The Elytra added in 1.9 allowed us to cover an overwhelming amount of terrain from one single jump, and never again would we fear a drop of any height. But now with the new use of fireworks to boost ourselves in the air, we aren't simply "falling with style" anymore are we? The new feature allows us to reach parts of the world that were once only reachable by ascending slowely in Creative Mode or even spectator at full speed.
A new frontier has opened up to the Minecraft player: The Skies and that is probably what makes this new feature so beloved by everyone (most people).

So what naturally insues is the desire for a reason to soar so high. Sure, we can now cover terrain that would have taken hours back in 1.5 before even horses, and flight PVP can now potentially be a thing ;).

Jeb has opened up a new world for us. And like the End, the Ocean and the Nether, this one is also just ripe for expansion. So what are some of your ideas/predictions for a possible expansion to the sky?
