I like the combat system. via /r/Minecraft

I like the combat system.

Now I understand why people dislike the new combat system. Maybe because we have had the old one for ages and then suddenly it changed or maybe because it feels slow and not as fast paced.

Though I do understand these thoughts, I have grown to like the system, first of all it has given each of the tools a new use that is kinda cool in my opinion.

Also I didn't like the old system in PvP for a few reasons, the first reason was how it wasn't skill based most of the times you'd only win would be because of your latency. The fact how all you needed to do was hit them and spam the left click and you would win didn't have much skill and people with not great computers or internet were flawed. After the combat update I have finally been able to compete with people in hunger games and other modes but some servers don't use the system I'm pretty sure.

Now I don't love it to bits since I do find it quite tedious in regular survival since unlike on servers where you might be forced to use an axe or hoe in survival you are not and I would prefer the tools to just be the same as they used to be or for there to at least be an option.

Now I do have mixed thoughts on it but all together I think it's fine, it doesn't cripple my game play but improves it in some cases.
