Quark 1.1, the 101 feature update
Not sure whether I should keep posting this here or move over to /r/feedthebeast, but seems like people here like it, so I'll post it here. /shrug
If you aren't aware, Quark is a mod that adds features that I would myself add to vanilla minecraft if I was at Mojang. The idea is to keep with the vanilla minecraft theme and feel while making the overall game better. Every feature in quark can be disabled individually, if you don't fancy it, and most come with settings to tweak them.
This is a special occasion, as quark now has 100 features (101 if you count Default World Options)! That's a lot of features to make your game cooler. It's been a few months since I last posted here, and that's because I got into university recently, so I haven't had as much time to work on new features. Non the less, I got some time recently to get the count up to 100, so I hope you enjoy the new stuff!
A few of the new features are also added by other mods. This is because I am currently trying to make Quark a standalone mod, as in, you can play the game with vanilla and it only and not miss out. Any features that are duplicated will turn themselves off if another prominent mod that adds them is loaded. This build is still for 1.10.2. 1.11 update will be coming when I have the time and motivation to do it, and probably only after 1.11.1 is released.
If you're looking for past Quark threads and changelogs:
Food Tooltip: Food items will show how much they feed in their tooltip.
Animals will now eat nearby food from the ground for breeding, as long as they would eat that type of food when fed by a player at that moment.
Pressing Ctrl + Delete while looking at an item in your inventory deletes the item.
Torches burn in furnaces, for a total of 2 items.
Double doors open together when right clicked.
Right clicking a (Iron) Ladder block with another (Iron) Ladder block will place it right below it, allowing for ladders to be easily deployed downwards.
Quark features may now be enabled, disabled, and modified from inside the game (some require a game reload to register their stuff).
These are just the new features since the last time I've posted. If you're interested in checking out everything the mod has to offer, there's a link to the website at the top of this post, which has the entire feature list. You can also follow me on Twitter for updates if you feel like doing that.
Have fun!

I know this is an average build style but I’m quiet proud of my blacksmith!
